I was thinking that, actually. Man has bailed on Saber more than he did Ghost, which is ridiculous.

That means Fukuda has written a total of… 14/48 Saber episodes, plus I think Phoenix Swordsman and a few spinoffs

Plot twist: He only got on board with Saber so he could make Kanon Specter.

And yet surprisingly it's stayed a lot more consistent with a lot less meandering I feel?

And when I say that I specifically mean the stretch of episodes from the early to near late thirties of Ghost?

I feel like him interchanging with writers and just the writers swapping out semi regularly probably also helped.

There’s… a lot of words I’d use for Saber, but ‘consistent’ is probably one of the last. Like it is all over the place in a way I could only compare to Blade

I'm guessing that Special Episode will involve Saber teaming up with Revice like how Ghost teamed up with Ex-Aid on it's Special Episode.
