He left home and didn't want to return because he was supposed to inherit the family's metalworks factory but he didn't want to stay on a backwater planet his whole life and after some nonsense with the Gogol Empire in the cold open, the heroes are stuck in a time loop that they didn't notice until the 108th loop!

Double post, so I'll just continue the above:

And now Dandy's doing the sensible thing and trying to escape the time loop by leaving the planet in a random ship, but they wake up again because space god hates them or something. :lol


Oh and the cause of the time loop? the page-a-day calendar was struck by techno babble!:lolol

Otherwise, there's quite a bit of touching moments in the episode.
