I'm with you there. I'm currently rewatching it and especially the middle portion is a pain so far. Oh, and just in case I didn't mention it often enough: I HATE Mio aka 2008 Queen.

Mio was by far my least favorite part.

But I still love Kiva, despite it's weaknesses, I think it's a great show.

Well, as it was sorta revealed like two or three episodes after she first appeared, I don't consider it a spoiler.

On a side note: I'm not a dude, "dude".

Rewatching Fourze and those early episodes are still pretty great. Love the feeling this show has and how it reminds me of my own schooldays. Gentaro is a great protagonist and the school setting still works as a background for this story.

I still laugh so hard when Gen-chan messes up his attacks and almost blows up a good chunk of Amanogawa High :lol

Black RX Episode 27: This was Shadow Moon's best episode! This totally is the best portrayal of him even better than in Black. I loved his fight with Black RX it was awesome and I loved when Kotaro got inspired and kicked his ass. I love how Nobuhiko looked like he awoke at the end and saved the kids. I also enjoyed Shadow Moon fighting against Crisis too for his own schemes. I loved seeing the four Generals fight too. This looks like it gets interesting next episode too.

I just cant get over how enticing Drive is. From the now Tradmarked tune the shift cars sound while zipping around to the awsome tunes fro both the belt and the killer soundtrack (the first henishn....Man the feels)

I have to disagree there. I hate what they did with Shadow Moon. They totally threw out all of his character's purpose in Black and dumbed him down into some goody tooshoes character.

After Mio and Saga show up the show just gets worse and worse Nago is the only good thing from it after that.

This. Shadow Moon didn't need to be redeemed. The entire point of his character was that Kotaro couldn't save him. It's part of Black's nature as a tragedy.

Well they said Shadow Moon didn't have his memories so it made sense how he is acting if all he remembers if his hatred toward Black.

I never liked Shadow Moon in Black, mainly because I loved Birugenia more and Shadow Moon never did anything that special.

Black RX Episode 28: Crisis's plans are getting worse with having the people possess the humans. I actually enjoy Dasmader here, he reminds me of Birugenia a bit. He also seems like he can take Black RX more than the other Generals can. I like that you can tell General Jak seems threatened by him too. They really need to have a thorough check to see if Black RX is really dead because they just assume and he totally isn't. Then again death hasn't stopped Kotaro anyways. I really liked Reiko and him protecting Yukio. I also loved Kotaro talking the crisis people from going back and not having to hurt them. Kotaro is so awesome.

You're right, because killing the main hero wasn't anything special. I do agree that there were some missteps with Shadow Moon in Black, but the show, as much as I love it, had a lot of missteps. The worst being Kara and Mara.

Just saw 9-12 of Agito. Geez, can someone PLEASE give Ryou a hug??? Man. Also I continue to like the mystery of Agito's origin as well as a couple side characters they introduce to make that happen.

He was his best friend and Kotaro was handicapped during that fight that's the only reason that happened. Also it only showed that the Satan's Sabre was the reason he beat Kotaro doesn't really special of his own abilities. Birugenia could have destroyed Kotaro a thousand times over which is why I say Shadow Moon isn't special because he was the entitled Villain he got the moment over the Underdog villain Birugenia who didn't got the shaft because he didn't have a Kingstone. Okay Birugenia fanboy rant over. Lol.


Honestly the Misstep I feel I don't like is having a clip show at the end of the show, I mean I guess that's more of a problem Marathoning the show rather than watching it one episode a week.

Also that the ending basically was the same as Super-1's and that they are the back to back series does kind of hurt it. I mean very similar things happened.

Black RX Episode 29: I really enjoy the escalation of Crisis's plans here. Going after the reservoirs and shutting off the water to the city. Kyoko wanting to help fight against Crisis and gaining Telekinesis or some kind of power is very interesting, I also liked that she helped inspire Reiko to want to help fight against Crisis too. Kotaro revealing his identity as Black RX to Reiko and Kyoko was good I'm glad she finally knows the truth though I think she might have guessed it at times. I'm glad this continues this is a serious issue that I couldn't be fixed just by destroying the monster. I am also interested what happens to General Jak with Dasmader informing the Emperor, I like the tension between him and the Crisis villains. I can't wait to see what happens.

I haven't seen anything beyond episode 1 of Super-1. I did not know anything beyond that had been subbed.

As for the ending and it being back to back, it's not like it was really back to back since there was like a 6 year gap between series. Plus, it's not like you can really change the ending up of a show where the good guy(s) win.

I thought it maybe went on too long, but I liked the flashback ending of Black. It really highlighted all of the things that Kotaro lost over the last year, really driving home just how pyrrhic his victory was.

And I also wouldn't consider Super-1 and Black as "back-to-back" because a) it was 8 years between the two shows and 2) ZX.

Rewatching OOO for about the third time. OSTs are so difficult to find several years after the release. Does anybody know where I can find a torrent/download link for the OOO soundtrack?

I watched the HK Subs of Super-1 because I wanted to see it. I pretty much got the gist of it.

Yes I know there was a Six year gap and ZX was in between it too. I watched them following one another. Black just uses a lot of elements from Super-1's ending.

I also don't care much for Flashback episodes and that it was in the ending just made it worse.

Black RX Episode 30: Kyoko's powers are interesting, I want to know how she got them. I love that she can summon water. I love how Gedorian, Gatezone, and Maribaron fought together against Black RX they might have a chance there. Also I enjoyed Reiko fighting against Crisis that was pretty cool. I enjoyed that Robo Rider could use the fire to help him and take down Meta Heavy. Very good plan of Crisis too bad they need something better to take out Kotaro. Also Kotaro disguising himself was very funny.

Hmm well I have a ton to watch so I think there's Kiva, W, OOO, Wizard, Fourze, Den-O, Gaim, and maybe a few others

Started rewatching W this week. It's been long enough that I've really forgotten a lot of the details. I'm only up to episode 2, but I'm definitely enjoying it again.

Otoya is one of the best parts of Kiva.

Shame about what happens to his character in the second half of the series.

Kiva 31: Damn, IXA gets passed around more times than a euphemism for sexual promiscuity.

Also, I'd say the most intriguing thing about this series is the question "who's related to who?"
Nago gave Maya a button that Wataru got from his mother but we see Maya pick up her son Taiga but Taiga was a random kid Waturu knew as a child and the Checkmate 4 greet him a King so are Wataru and Taiga brothers but then who sired Megumi or is she also related to Wataru and where did Mio come from and-*head asploded*

I'm currently watching Drive and OOO. OOO's is surprising me, I thought I would dislike it to be honest but its proving to be very enjoyable.

OOO is one of my favorite series, and I am enjoying Drive too. I'm glad you are enjoying them. How far are you in OOO?

Watched Agito 13-19. Again, the mystery is good. Some things still bother me, like why is Agito's power's need to stop the Unknown so inconsistent? If that was a rule they stuck with there would be fewer casualties than the series already has. And certain plots would definitely be affected with Shouichi being at every scene; he'd likely have his identity as Agito revealed to the other characters much earlier. Plus I noticed with these earlier Heisei shows that the acting isn't as convincing to me as the Neo-Heisei shows. But that doesn't take me out of Agito. The characters are solid & I enjoy Shouichi & Hikawa's little comedic moments. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Currently on episode 13 at the moment.

Ah cool, it gets more and more interesting as it continues.


Black RX Episode 31: Definitely getting interesting with trying to open the Demon World here. That they found the keys and tried to get it open was close. Maribaron I still think is the worst because she got the Princess killed and then is a smug bitch to everyone else when they fail. Gatezone at least got the keys and all hope wasn't lost. This Yuko is interesting with trying to find the keys and it was fun to have her and Kotaro sneak into a museum to find it and Kotaro being accused of being a thief. Robo Rider was brutal in this and RX kicked some ass and got a good flip into the impale with the Revolcane. Can't wait to see the next part of this with the Keys and Yuko.

Drive and rewatching Faiz and Blade.

I just finished Blade today. It's pretty good, definitely one of my favorites.
