I've always thought there was some small point of contention with the wrist sockets after looking closely to my MMPR Pink. But overall, it's been cool. I think if use just a bit of care & common sense, you'll be alright. When we get these things, we're bound to get at least one bum figure joint. In my case, that's Dukemon's right shoulder peg.

Whatever happened to them using the Figma type wrists like Kabuto has?

It appears only the renewals will be getting that type of treatment or figures that follow the Kabuto style, since figuarts Hibiki will be using the same and new figuarts body mold like Renewal Kabuto.

So in theory more like the hesei era riders will have that body while older ones a neo hesei will have the old body

It could honestly just be that Gaim was produced much later before the new figuarts mold would use. Maybe they wanted to be more cost effective and use the old molds since Gaim has 10+ riders, and not splurge out money to make new molds for every single rider in Gaim.

But thinking that renewal riders are only getting the treatment and everything after Decade isn't is just kinda some thing else.

It's just like Cure Heart she uses the newest body mold for the precure figuarts lines, and now Sunny, March and feature precure figures are using the same mold too.

I'm really excited for Baron Lemon Energy Arms though! For a last minute suit it was pretty damn good.

So does this mean Shin (and maybe J) are going to be the only exclusive Showa riders? I think all of the other ones were regular releases.

So Baron Lemon Energy is not only an exclusive, he's an EVENT exclusive. Makes getting him so much harder. Sigh

I wonder though, if they'll make anymore Gaim regular releases.

He'll probably be sold on the webstore as well, it's been like that for both Joker and Super Climax form, at least that's how it's worked in the past, so hopefully the same will happen again for Baron.

Maybe Giant J can work as a Figuart Zero, maybe have him be 24 inches. If NECA can do large scale figures then maybe Bandai Tamashii Nations can do the same too.

I plan to pick up Sun Vulcan because I always dig his design and I want a complete collection of the red rangers. Some people are upset that they pick Sun Vulcan over the other teams, but people forget how popular Sun Vulcan is. It's the third Super Sentai show with the highest ratings in history. The show was popular enough that it almost came out in the US in the early 80's. I remember reading that Stan Lee pitch a English dub to HBO and they turn it down saying it was awful.

That has no bearing on his question. His point is that thus far, Shin is the sole exclusive Showa Rider, as all the others are only variations or reissues for the sake of bike releases.

It would be very odd if ZO got the mass-release treatment and not J, so I'd expect Shin to maintain that distinction. We'll see.

J was the last rider created by Shotaro Ishinomori and J was also very popular too. Shin doesn't seem to have a very good rep with Rider fans which can explain why he was a web exclusive. Maybe they can have a giant version of J be a Figuart Zero web exclusive.

Agreed. DVDs have nothing to do with this. It is simply the same reason they can't bring other web exclusives out. I mean, they couldn't do any of the Space Sheriffs, they can't do any rider exclusives, they can't do Kikaider, there was no reason to assume they were going to be able to do B Fighter just because of Beetleborgs.

The DVD's not selling pretty much proves that Beetleborgs does not have a big fanbase though. I think the Saban non Toku shows have a very small cult flowing in the US. I can see why they would think that they won't sell well. If the DVD's of a old late 90's show can't sell any better then what makes you think figuarts will do any better?

But DVD sales have nothing to do with Toy sales. We are talking about a completely separate release from another company.
