Fans wanted Singer to return given on what happen with X3 and Wolverine Origins. I personally glad that those two movies are no longer canon to the series given how the new timeline seem to erase them. I used to like Wolverine Origins, but I hated it on a second viewing.

Some fans wanted Singer to return, I'll give you that. Heck, maybe even the majority. It doesn't mean it was the best decision for the franchise, though, creatively, at least. Singer's X-Men films, to me, are like Bay's Transformers entries: not very good movies that make a ton of money at the box office.

Then yeah, I'd like to see him return, then. I just assumed Singer directed it since he seemed to direct every other X-Men movie but Last Stand, that I could remember. |

So, I'm a little confused. Taskmaster debuted in the Avengers, but he appears in Spider-Man a decent amount of times, but he also partners up with Deadpool on occasion while also fighting the X-Men on occasion.
So is his movie rights with Marvel Studios, Sony, or Fox? Quote:

Something that irritates the nerd in me is that the teenage versions of Cyclops, Jean Gray, e.t.c. are all out of sync with the chronology. Aren't a lot if them who appeared in X-men 1 in thier late 20s, earlier 30s? Because if this movie was late 80s, I'd be okay with it, since 10-15 years after this is the original X-men, and the chracters would fit the ages.
