Truthfully I found the villains more interesting then the heroes…and that already is a serious problem.

Also how much of a slap in the face would it be if it turns out that this whole series is nothing but one big dream and none of it actually happened?

Never gonna happen. Toei likes their crossovers. They'd never write an entire team out of existence like that. You can bet their powers are a result of imagination, and maybe to an extent they are too. But Toei would never sweep it under the rug like that that none of it was lasting or real.

Wouldn't surprise me. They seem to be pushing the imagination theme pretty hard.

Edit: Had a thought. What if they pull an Akibaranger, and they imagine so hard that if they are just fighting in their minds that everything then becomes real?

Can't remember if I weighed in on this yet. I thought that was a very fun first episode.

Now, I'm talking first-episode-of-Super-Megaforce fun here. Exciting action, interesting gimmick, yet very little hint of plot.

I can already tell that's going to change in weeks to come though and I totally get where they're going with this... even though throwing in the big reveal in the last second was a little badly placed for me.

Plus, the Shadow Line. Holy wow those designs.

If that were the case we wouldn't have had the Go-Busters star in Super Hero Taisen Z, the dinosaur ranger movie, and given them their own stand alone movie (the one with the other busters).

I agree the part about the footsoldiers and the villians being the best part of this show, which doesn't bode well for the show to be honest. I think the lack of foils on the team makes the entire Sentai team feel very monotonous and vanilla. I was already tired of the whole train theme by the end of the episode, and the constant choo choo sound was becoming annoying. Still gonna stick with the show unless it becomes unbearable like the Go-Busters.

Just making light of them being skipped for a Power Rangers adaptation. And how they look so backgrounded in their own VS movie (aka the Dinosaur Ranger movie).
