Depending on how you look at it, they used Strawberry to hide a good number of references. Taken from the Kamen Rider Wiki:

Ichigo Arms' design is similar to that of a ninja, making it the first explicit ninja Rider motif since Kamen Rider ZX.

I am not dissing those that make these ideas, because Ive had my own ridiculous ideas, but wow at some of them. :lol

Only thing that gets me about these is when a majority of people start believing it like Toei said it themselves :lol

Did a bit of poking around in our news forum; Gaim was officially unveiled by July 25th last year. I have no idea why Toei is taking so long to do so with Drive.

I am guessing that the choice of transportation being a car they were probably being more careful than before from stuff like backlash and fandom scorn which probably explains why the suit designs by PLEX were shillouettes.
