http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWoTIJlE630 Basically i was like Vegeta here. And i just sort of stuck to her. |
DANGANRONPA on Vita; it's like Persona meets Phoenix Wright, in-short awesome.
|
I played Tatsunoko vs Capcom all afternoon with my brother, i kept rotating out between Morrigan, Chun li, Roll, saki and G lightan.
I realize the only character i use consistently is Morrigan. |
Right now I'm at World 6 of DKC:TF. This game is balls hard, but once you learn what to do it becomes much more fun. Although I won't be getting 100% anytime soon.
|
Bravely Default Chapter 7. I don't know what I can say at this point that wouldn't be a spoiler.

I finally broke my brothers combo of Karis and Saki with my combination of Morrigan and Zero.
I practiced enough with these two to manage to beat him. Though i'm scared of what'll happen when he gets better at the game. O,O |
So I finished Void Quest in Persona 4, I understand what you are trying to do game, but there's no way this is the end, stop trying to convince me of that.
In 3 I got Koromaru recently, explored some Tartarus, haven't played much recently... |
Megaman zero 4, i always loved the maverick designs in this game.
|
Okay, got almost all the alternate costumes for the Capcom characters, except for Batsu and Megaman... And god knows i ain't touchin' Megaman.
|
March 9th cannot come soon enough.Yeah,it's the NJCC,but I also plan on getting the Stick of Truth. That game looks amazing!
|
I just got 100% completion in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. The game was very frustrating but quite good. There are moments I felt like they made areas of some of the stages hard just for the sake of it instead of implementing a good design, but for the most part, the game was solid all around. Unfortunately, even though it was great, I must have hyped myself up too much for it as it was the game that I was ultimately buying the Wii U for and it was not THAT good. In fact, I kind of prefer Returns. My favorite area of this game though was the Savannah as those levels rocked. Overall, I give it an 8/10.
|
I got both endings in Bravely Default, so other then checking out the optional dungeon I'm done. The game was great, but they could have handled the last 4 Chapters better.
Now I'm at a loss of what to play next. I wanted to get Devil Survivor Overclocked, but after Bravely Default I want something more casual, maybe Zelda:ALBW? |
I definitely recommened ALBW.
As for Devil Survivor, just a heads up, but it is a tactical RPG like Disgea and Final Fantasy Tactics. I did not know that when I bought it as I cannot get into those types of games. In fact, my dumbass self bought it initially on the DS, never had the chance to play it, so then I bought it on the 3DS and got rid of the DS one. I paid off my preorder for DS2 and started to play the first one only to find out it was a tactical RPG and made it for about an hour or so before I just gave up and canceled my preoreder for DS2. It just isn't my type of game. If you are cool with those types of games, then I'm sure you will enjoy it as it does seem like a great game. It's just that I suck at those types and don't have the patience for them. |
Revisiting TES IV: Oblivion.
Granted I'm running it with a few mods such as Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, but the game's aged significantly better than I would have expected. |

Okay so while i'm at Uni my brother has managed to master almost every character in Tatsunoko vs Capcom to the point where i can't do anything to him...
So all night i've been training with Chun li and Batsu to this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UucyGMGsv_w My virtual fighting training has somehow made me sweat in real life, huh. |
Started playing Metroid Prime 2 today. It is so much superior with a Wii.
|
I finished Metroid Prime 2 today and it was my first time every getting 100% in it. For the most part, the game is really good, but it is extremely flawed, especially compared to the first installment. I liked the more story driven aspect of the game, getting to see that Samus is not the only human who actually does anything in the universe (even if all of the Space Marines were dead), and it was nice to have a story that was centered around the Space Pirates. Graphically, it is fantastic, especially when outside of the Sky Sanctuary. Unfortunately, it is the gameplay mechanics and boss battles where this game really takes a dive in quality. There are so many boss battles and a ton of them are just flat out boring. The big bosses for each area are fine, but it is the mini bosses where things are chaotic. It also doesn't help that the lock on system does not always work, especially on the Jump and Grapple Guardians, making it a great thing the Wii remote is fantastic during those moments (and I remember them being nearly impossible with the GC controller) as it at least helps. Another issue deals with the camera angles, especially in one specific section of Torvus Bog when trying to get an energy tank as the camera moves BEHIND the wall you have to spider across so you cannot see what you are doing nor where the moving platforms are. Whomever designed this section hopefully was fired for sheer stupidity. The other problem is the timed boss battle against Dark Samus. It isn't bad enough she has to be beaten in less than 8 minutes, but she will encase herself in that freaking Phazon bubble for a good 45 seconds and you have to just stand there and wait for her to leave it. It is VERY ANNOYING!!! Finally, because of the Light and Dark world stuff, there is just simply way too much back tracking in this game. It is easy to get lost or miss something and not realize it until you have already transferred to the other world and then have to spend 10 minutes going back to a specific spot. Those stupid Temple Keys are the worst atrocity of this. I'm not exactly sure what was up with Nintendo during the Gamecube era, but they seemed to love doing this as both Metroid Prime 2 and Wind Waker are plagued with this extra stretch that really slows down the game. With that said, I give this game a 7/10 as it has some many great things for it, but its negatives really hurt it.

Looking for games to play, I came across Sid Meier's Railroads! in my Steam library.
Been watching ToQger so I figured, why not? Now I'm hooked. Who knew a railroad simulator could be so fun? |
I haven't been up to much gaming beyond the occasional Pokemon here and there, but I did recently get a Vita. I'll probably start Gravity Rush once I'm done with exams.
I do, however, have a code for the Walking Dead since I got that bundle and I know I'm never going to actually redeem it since I have the game for PC already. Hit me up if you're interested. (Honestly, just hit me up if you have a Vita, I really want to get rid of this one way or another.) |
Replaying AADD, because i've got nothing better to do while i wait for Conception 2.
Man this second case is really making me want to go and finish Okamiden. |
Still working my way through Bravely Default. I just fought Braev Lee and I just realized what a cleaver and terribly punny play on words his name is…
The game has been a breeze so far but it's getting progressively harder…I'm trying to do the Vampire asterisk side quest and the Keystone dragons are utterly crushing me. Currently working on JP farming at the moment. My characters levels are at 63 so the problem is that each character only has 1 job mastered each. |

Playing through Skyrim, just trying to level up and get some more shouts. I got a PS3 recently, but I don't have any games for it, since it came with The Last of Us, and much like Brainchild and The Walking Dead...I really don't want it, so if anyone's interested hit me up.

For Playstation Store games: Jet Set Radio, the first 3 Spyro Games, and InFamous: Festival of Blood Though that's just what I've played. I'm kinda boring that way. Though since you also want JRPGs, Ni no Kuni. I haven't played it, but I hear it's good. :D |

I also loved Spyro as a kid. Good to know it's on the Playstation store. EDIT: Ni No Kuni, huh? Ok. Oh man...I just realized...Matrix is going to tell me Okami and Veiwtiful Joe, isn't he? :lol |
Always.
Always. Always. Get Okami. The HD is so godlike~ I can't think of a fighting game to suggest, unfortunately... |
I'd recommend getting the Journey Collector's Edition (retail disc) that includes Flow and Flower. These games may not be particularly long, but I felt the beauty and majesty of these titles were more than worth the money spent. Journey is possibly the most beautiful game I've played in the last few years.
You play a wanderer wandering through a desert, and occasionally you come across another wanderer, who is a random player somewhere in the world. Both of you can only communicate by repeating one musical note. You can't chat, play music, voice message, anything. You won't even know the user's name for the duration of the game. If you're lucky, both of you will travel the journey together, and help each other out. I can't begin to say what a visceral experience this is, bonding with a silent partner as both of you transcend verbal communication to travel together. It was quite emotional for me, especially at the end. http://imageshack.com/a/img703/9160/aktj.jpg |
