What is with all of the hate for just about EVERY Drive suit? I think all of them look excellent. Even this one.
As I see it, the helmet represents how you see the driver's helmet (often a different color than the car itself) from the top of a Formula One car.
Is it weird? Yeah. Is it bad? I don't think so, because generally yellow and blue go well together in my opinion.

The yellow helmet really throws it off for me. Like it'd be perfectly fine if there wasn't this random bright yellow helmet in a suit that's 90% blue. I get why it was done it just doesn't look great to me. I'm also a fan of the more sleek rider designs but that's just me.

I really want to see it from the front but I like Type Formula so far.

Also I liked Super TaToBa too.

Personally, I kinda like Formula from what I've seen so far. After the disappointment with pretty much any design from Wild onwards, I'm kinda happy with Formula so far. Yes, it doesn't look that great from the side, but many designs look horrible from the side. (Especially DiEnd. Yuck)

I really like this form but then again I've liked almost every form of Drive in terms of design except Deadheat.

I like how it is decked out with stickers of the names of other shift cars like how racecars have sponsors wallpapered to them. It is a nice little attention to detail.

I finally understand Chase's design. He was originally Proto Drive, which is modeled after a car. Think about it. The reason Chase's design is so mangled because it resembles a car after a horrible accident.

I think this picture might be from Kamen Rider Taisen because Mach has some purple stuff on his suit that looks like stuff that was in the newest preview for kamen rider 4 dvd. Plus Mach looks like he dies in an explosion the Kamen rider 4 dvd but that was most likely trailer hype.

I don't know what you guys have as an overall opinion of Drive thus far, but in all honesty, 21 episodes in and I think it is just about as bad as Wizard. In fact, right now, I think it is one of the worst Kamen Rider series out there. Not as bad as Decade, but still pretty bad. I think the problem is that Toei got into this comfort zone and are playing it safe. Yes, we have Gaim, but it seems like Gaim was a fluke because after Gaim, they went right back to the standard formula they have been doing for the last several years.

I'm starting to think it's the worst Rider show since Kiva. Decade was deeply, deeply flawed, but at least it could be fun. Drive rarely rises above boring and frequently dips down into aggressively obnoxious. I keep hoping that it will have some kind of Blade-esque upswing in quality, but as the show goes on that's looking less and less likely.

Upon thinking about it you could be right. Hell, I own the Decade Figuart, but I regret preordering the Drive ones. If it weren't for Drive coming in my order with Vader and the STs, and risking my entire AmiAmi account in general, I'd cancel all of my preorders. I just hope that by the time at least Chaser ships in May, Drive has redeemed itself.

It sucks because Drive has a few moments of brilliance but ends up screwing it all up and just makes it a chore to watch through.


Like I've said before, we're 21 episodes in and we still don't know anything about the main Rider.

And I agree about Decade. For all of Decade's stupidity, it was still a damn fun Rider series to watch. Drive is just...ehh.

I am just wondering, is anyone confused at how the Roidmudes evolution thingy work?

The writing just feels really lazy and half-assed this season, as best exemplified by how Type Formula's introduction has been handled. I hate to say it, but I'm starting to think that Riku Sanjo is the next Toshiki Inoue: one masterpiece of a series (W/Agito) followed by a trainwreck (Faiz/Drive). At this rate, I'm not sure I'd want to see him helm another series.

If Drive sticks with the act with Shinnosuke & Hayase, it'd be much better, a great chance for the character development. However sadly after episode 6, they completely ignored it and just threw new Shift Cars in new episodes. They just stop focusing on Shinnosuke after episode 6, really.
Maybe this is a trade off for having a great support character (Kiriko) in recent years.
