If the movie become a success, who would buy the franchise ?
|
Why would they sell it? It's in a good place with Nick...
|
But PR is not owned by Nick.
|
I think they have a contract.

No. As in, Saban can't just jump ship if, say, CN gives them a better deal.
Saban currently has a contract with Nick. |
Fow now.

The only change I can possibly see coming, and this isn't dependant on the movie's sales, is Saban possibly moving away from Nick when their current contract is up. Though they seem to have a good relationship with them atm, so I don't think there's any major reason they wouldn't just renew their contract with them. |
5 heroes from 5 diffent dino tibes in supensed in time and 5 heroes wake up in 1993 for mmprs1
it mr tazor falut |
No, it's 5 teenagers with attitude that was born in the late 70's/early 80's.
If you wanted a recreation of Zyuranger, just watch Zyuranger, since it'll probably be a better Zyuranger than the Zyuranger you wanted MMPR to be. I don't watch RPM hoping to get an American Go-Onger, and I definitely didn't watch In Space hoping it'd be Megaranger all over again. |

What if the producers decides bring the Eltarians to the show ?

Saban has a contract with Nick. They will continue to have a contract with Nick for the foreseeable future. This. Will. Not. Change. It won't change because from Nick's perspective PR is a ratings success. It won't change because from Saban's perspective Nick is the best possible option to get PR on the air. Is it a perfect relationship? No, but no business relationship is. Nick is Saban's best option for getting PR on the air and that's that. You asking if some other network will pick it up over and over and over will. Not. Change. That. So stop asking. |

The only thing I wqish Nick would change is the amount of episodes per season. 20 just isnt long enough for a good season. Maybe 30.

I'd much rather go back to the old 32 episode count and actually adapt each season. |
Still though, it's non stop barrage of promotion is putting it in a far better standing than when it was with other networks. So even though PR only airs for, like, 3 months a year, it's constantly being pushed into the public eye.
Also, I want 50 episode seasons. PR seasons tend to have so much potential, but it goes unexplored in lieu of the basic story of good vs evil because they barely have the time to make things interesting again. |

I'd go with varying blocks of 32-45 episodes per season, we can be on track, Nick gets smaller chunks and we don't have to screw with stupid "no really, it's TWO seasons of the team!" thing.
Also, anyone realize we now need to what the TF fandom does with the two RIDs and have a PRNS and PRNS2? |

Is every show owned/ broadcast by Nickelodeon bound by the “twenty episodes per season” contract? Or are more episodes per season allowed if the show becomes popular? The original Avatar has sixty-one episodes across three seasons: twenty for seasons one and two, twenty-one for season three.
|
I think it's just a stipulation for Power Rangers. I dunno, I don't really know about how Nick handles contracts.

I had a thought but I'm going back and forth. Starninnger. Do we think they'll use him? And if they don't use him, what do you do with his mecha? Titanium Ranger worked in Lightspeed because the mech he used wasn't designed around a Sixth Sentai. But all of Starninnger's stuff is motif'd and designed around him being a cowboy. So if you don't use him do you scrap Bison and Redneck-maru too? If they do keep him, I don't see them keeping the Cheeseburger. Chances are they'll give him a sword like everyone else. Then I still cling to the idea that you could make an entire season without Japanese footage. Animation is really inexpensive these days and would make doing something like this a lot easier. And BoA already molds their own Zords since they size down everything BoJ makes. They could easily create a new team, zords, villians. I'd love seeing it. But maybe this new Movie will give us that. They are making their own Zords based on the originals, and probably new suits too. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. |
I'd just make the cheeseburger phone be an actual cheeseburger phone retrofitted with a damaged Morpher.

Honestly, in retrospect, ToQger would have been easier for them to adapt. |

Could another Power Rangers and TMNT crossover work since they both air on the same TV channel?
