I haven't had any problems with plugs falling out on Ouja, nor Zolda. None at all. On Knight, on the right forearm one has given me trouble so far.
So far for me, I think Zolda is the most solid of the four, even though he doesn't come with his contract monster like Ryuki and Knight do.

Actually, one of my friends just ordered me Ouja as a late graduation present, so I'm good. :rock:

Question, since I am planning to get them some day, do you think it would be best and easier to just get OOOs and Fourze now rather than later?

The OOO stuff is actually all still pretty damn affordable. I think the only ones that tend to sell for more than 2500 or 3000 yen are PuToTyra, BuraKaWani (because it's exclusive), and Gatakiriba. The Fourze stuff will also be pretty readily available for a while. I don't see any of that becoming hard to find any time soon.

I don't see Fourze Figuarts selling out anytime soon (At least, not Base States). Even at that, it's probably not gonna get the extreme price inflation like Double C/J did in the aftermarket.
It's also still on it's initial release, so if you do happen to miss it, you can still expect a reissue in the near future too.

As for OOO, TaToBa is still readily available for cheap, so I would recommend scooping it up now just to save yourself any trouble of hunting him down later.

I imagine part of that reason is because OOO himself is not that great of a figuarts.

Well all of his releases do tend to suffer from that same gummed up leg problem. I should know since I have all of them. Pretty much the only ones that can stand up reliably are TaMaShii, PuToTyra, and BuraKaWani. The others tend to have some pretty weird leg problems.

Only one I own is TatoBa, and my biggest problem with it is just how cheap and flimsy it feels, especially after the high-end feeling ones ended after W.

I haven't watched Jetmen yet but I have an extreme urge to buy Black Condor.. strange.

Meh, I just ordered both OOO and Fourze on Amazon since they were actually from Amazon and I got my Prime membership stuff. I'd rather not take that chance since W is going to end up costing me a fortune. Not to mention the only places that seem to have W are Hong Kong sellers, and I trust them about as far as I can throw the Washington Monument.

For a W figure get Fang Joker...solid joints and the contrasting colors are just sexy man

Although should Figuarts ever become available at mass retail, Fang Joker is one figure that has no chance in hell coming over here, since it violates like so many child safety rules :lol

YES! I hate those damn things for this very reason.

It's not the wrist cuffs that I have problems with on my Double Figuarts, the hands are just really hard to get back on the ball joints. All my other Figuarts swap hands quite smoothly, but I don't know if the holes on the Double hands are smaller, or what, but they are hard to get back on.
oh, but my one Nasca figure is fine, and my one Accel figure is tougher than most, but not as bad as the Double figs.

They should look amazing though.

Figuarts hand swapping is a piece of cake. You want difficult? Then collect Ultra-Act. Those bastards will break your fingers and shoot pieces across the room before you can manage it.

As cool as Fang Joker is, I want just the main forms of the riders, so Cyclone Joker for W. The only ones I'll buy the upgrade forms to are King Blade and Emperor Kiva.

I'm trying to get main riders too.
The only Heisei main Riders I'm missing are Den-O Sword form and Fourze Base States because I don't have the money right now.

I've actually ordered Den-O Sword Form from my local comic shop since they were in this month's Previews magazine (and Stronger).

That's how I started too. :lol Those were the days.

For the ones I haven't seen I'll stick with just the main forms, but once I start a series I'm pretty near guaranteed to want all the Rider's forms.

Well I don't watch any kamen rider, my bother does LOL. I started off buying a OOO's for him and I got hooked on the articulation. So I started buying whatever looked cool. I saw my first ep. of fourze yesterday...

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, the first episode of Fourze is terrible. I stopped after it.

Now that is not to say I won't go back to it, because I will after I watch OOO, but the first episode was so bad I did not even want to watch another at that time.

If you want to start a Kamen Rider series, go with Ryuki or Blade as your starter series.

Fourze gets substantially better once Yuuki's actor learns how to act and shuts the hell up every once and a while.

I think Fourze as a whole goes from tolerable to decent when the Perseus Zodiart shows up.

Oh really? The introduction of Perseus is I think the last episode I saw. I thought the first episode was engaging enough that I wanted to see the sereis, I just haven't done a good job of keeping up.

I've heard bad things about Blade, haven't tried it yet, myself. I quite like Ryuki, though I'm only half-way through, so far.

Episode 1, really? That's not giving it a fair enough chance IMO.

I personally thought the first episode of Ryuki was pretty terrible to be fair =p It was kinda boring, Kido was annoying and the special effects were terrible.

And yet it turned out to be my favourite series so far =)

Fourze is kinda off putting at first. I gave it a shot after seeing him during the Superhero Time opening while watching Gokaiger. I am glad i stuck with it though, I am now in love with Kamen Rider in general because of him. He will always have a special place in my heart.
