I pre-ordered Hibiki via Amazon so I'm going to be month late :lol


I managed to get an unopened Faiz glowing stage set off of Mandarake, a Shin-Zangetsu from Nippon-Yasan, and by accident have an extra Leangle on the way because I forgot to cancel my pre-order with Amazon.

Meanwhile, I finally paid for Ryugen. :lol

Yay, Amazon has shipped my Leangel, but he won't be here until Tuesday. -_-

I also paid for my Shadow Chaser preorder at NY. Now I just need to pay for Green Clover and I will be all good.

Just got my Zangetsu Shin in today. He's even more beautiful in person than in photos. Metallic paint really shines and the bubble effect in the clear plastic is just super cool. One interesting thing to note is that he does not have Gridon's thicker wrist connectors, so that's not something you'll see on all exclusive Gaim figuarts.

I will say, though, that mine has some of the easiest to use handsets I've ever had on a figuarts. Stiff enough to hold poses, but also very easy to snap on and off. Doesn't feel like I'm going to snap anything like with a lot of my others. Only disappointment I have about the figure is that the belt doesn't have any movement mechanism like the Sengoku Driver. It's definitely forgivable as that extra stress would probably make the belt super easy to break, but it would have been nice if they could have figured out a way to include it.

While we're on Gridon though, does anyone else have issues with him? Mine has a bicep that flies apart when the smallest amount of force is applied. The elbow joint just pulls out of the lowwr bicep on his left arm. Nothings broken, its just remarkably easy to do.

His left arm got detached once while posing him, but I pushed it back in and now it sits tight. Nothing else to report, I'm really satisfied with this guy.

i have yet to open my gridon as I think I want to get a stage first, or wait for bravo, whichever comes first. that or I may get board and open and pose him anyway.

My Gridon seems perfectly fine. Probably the one I'm least worried about breaking or having QC issues with.

Oh good, I'm not the only person with that problem. Only other complaint I have is the open Donguri lock seems bent back a little too much. Doesn't look like it's about to snap, but it's a wider angle than the others I've had so far and it makes me just a tad uncomfortable.

That's absolutely insane. It also terrifies me a bit since I still need a Kiba Ranger to round out my Akibarangers. Luckily I got my Dragon Ranger when the price bottomed out a few months ago.

Another dealer had it for 150, but a good friend of mine is selling his for 65.

I assure you, not all Tamashi products were that marked up at the show. In fact a lot of them were retail plus shipping.

I sincerily hope that it's just dealers caught in JDF hype, due to him having been anounced as a guest(though canceled)

This. Gridon is pretty great, I like him lots. He's happily hanging out with Figma Thor now, getting some pointers on how to use a war hammer effectively.

That's odd. When I go through the payment request process I always have the prices for all the options on show.

I saw someone on eBay who had one at auction for 150 bucks, his justification being "I bought it at SDCC, so it's a SDCC exclusive lol". The sad part is, it had at least 3 bids.

Me too. I just paid for my Hibiki last night on AmiAmi, and I contemplated switching to EMS, but they wanted $10 more, so I stuck with RSAL.

This is why I hate scalpers. Scalpers like to fool people to thinking it's rare when it's not. I bump into Toku scalpers at Toys R Us the other day when one guy bought four Legacy Dragonzords and there was only four in stock. People should not spend this much money on something that is not worth the price.

i got a dragon ranger three weeks ago for less than $38 shipped and brand new from amazon. And paid $45 for kibaranger

Amiami has been good to me so far; got some great pre-owned figs and I have Akaranger pre-ordered, so I am going to wait for VulEagle to be posted there to order.

Had some points from CDJapan because my birthday is coming up, so I decided to use those points towards Hibiki.

ZO secured, but GaoGaiGar sold out in a couple minutes...so now I wait.

Got my ZO! Took me 11 minutes with AmiAmi this time around, although I don't know if that is a good thing or not. :lol

Got my VulEagle pre-order in. I can't wait to see what customs are made using the two showa figures with the looser suits.

I wonder if I'm one of few people here wanting Boukenger & Dairanger to get their remaining figuarts.

Nope. We all demand that the teams get completed.

While I can't say I care too much about Dairanger, I definitely want the remaining Boukengers. In fact, the lack of pink and yellow is why I haven't even picked the others up. I want them, but I rarely get Sentai Figuarts unless the full team is available.

I'm pretty sure there is enough anger on the lack of full teams for these two to squash an idea like that, lol. I thought I was in that boat as well (cause I want BoukenSilver), but after reading around, I see that I definitely am not.

Speaking of custom, I actually ordered an extra VulEagle for a custom I'm going to try and do of Captain Silver from Eight Rangers(the movie)

He's not a character people probably know here but he is just too cool not to have a figure. Even if I have to make it myself.
