The Akaranger in the promo's the original release. Same hand shape, same plastic cape. But would be cool if it were a tease for an update, it's much needed at this point.

I wonder if the Akarenger release has something to do with next year being the show's 50th anniversary and all.

Wouldn't it be the hand shape anyway, given it's part of the henshin/roll call?

Bandai teasing at least 7 new Figuarts announcements from Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai. The first being revealed on 11/8 and it's KR Saber related.

Just kidding. Kind of. Interesting to see if they finally let some prototypes out of purgatory, they have been better about that compared to the ancient times but some definitely piled up since the last Tamashii Nations.

Ultraman especially, we still haven't gotten a Galactron pre-order so it would be nice to have that in there. And Valen or Geats IX for Kamen Rider.

Sentai inclusion is making me wonder - the purple shark? Could it be? Nah probably a new Seihou.

But all in all, seven days of Toku announcements? That's awesome to see. Especially with the big event at the end of it all. Exciting stuff.
