So you can just start it up. And don't worry. It intentionally starts confusing, so even seeing every Heisei series won't stop you from scratching your head at what's going on in the first episode. |

So what Kamen rider shows have you watched as you have said everything else you has been good. |

Black Kuuga Agito Ryuki 555 Blade W Gaim Started but still need to finish Hibiki Kabuto Den-O |
Quote:
... You finish Den-O now! MAGGOT! :lol (How do you like Den-O so far? It's literally my favorite Rider series ever! :D) |

For me I consider the second half of the heisei era the weakest section of kamen rider and that seems to be the area you have less explored, of course this is all my opinion on the matter. |

(You know Winston, you seem like a cross between Urataros and Kintaros, with a sprinkle of Momotaros. :lol) Hibiki is amazing. I'm on Episode 15 of the show and I love every minute of it and I am starting to warm up to Asumu and of course, Hibiki remains awesome. :D (I do enjoy the Oni/Music theme that this show has!) On the other hand, I didn't really enjoy Kabuto all that much. It was mostly due to Tendou. He was awesome, yet a jerk. Kind of like Kusaka was. I stopped around the twenties, but I do plan on finishing the show since I do want to see how it ends. |

True, and it's been through personal choice. Everything after Den-O doesn't really grab my interest. I really, really don't like the designs from Kiva, nor the music, and those are factors that add to my being able to get into a show (although I do like Ixa's suit). Decade I honestly just don't know if I want to watch, though I love the first OP and the Decade suit. OOOs is the same as Kiva. Fourze I is one I actually will get around to eventually since it seems like a fun little show. Wizard, same as Kiva and OOOs. I've said it before and I think what I have completed and listed shows it, but when it comes to toku I do prefer shows that handle the material a bit more seriously. I don't mind humor and comedy, or even if the show is a little kid friendlier than others. But I do prefer it a lot more when the elements of fun and serious are mixed well or it's mostly serious, it's just what I prefer. Quote:
I only got three in before I stopped for the time being. I love the environment and how different it is. Though the whole musical number part of episode one threw me for a loop. Kabuto I outright love. I love the action especially and I think it's the best I've ever seen in Rider. And as for Tendou, he's my favorite main rider. |

Oh. That sucks. A musical number... wait... are you talking about Climax Jump Hip Hop Version? (Kabuto's action is amazing. I will give it that. That's one of the things I did enjoy when watching Kabuto. :)) |

Watched Kamen Rider ZO this morning since I felt obligated to after buying the Figuart. It was pretty good, reminded me of Shin a lot in that the visuals are utterly fantastic but the story isn't much to write home about. In fact, the entire first half is pretty much contextless and you just have to go with the flow of it :lol then there's that bizarre musical interlude, and THEN stuff starts getting explained properly.
But yeah, dem costumes/effects. ZO himself is a bit basic (although I like the idea of an entirely organic belt-less Rider) but Doras and co were superb. I can never get enough of stop motion sequences. Also, am I right in assuming the Bat and Spider monsters were a homage to original Kamen Rider monsters? |

Ryuki 44.
Poor Sano. That was just... agonizing to watch. Also, fuck Tojo. That asshole makes Micchy look rational. |

And I just finished watching agito. Good story, Great fight scenes, and good suit designs. Probably in my top 5 of Kamen Rider series
|
Currently watching Gaim. About to watch episode 46. I'm sad that its almost over.
|
Well I'm going to start Black RX, I'm eager to finally start it, and once I've finished that, it'll be Kamen Rider Stronger, I'll only have 4 Kamen Rider shows to watch after that then I'll have watched every single one, be easy to get through though, I love 70s toku.

Kamen Rider ZO- Dubbed Version... My god, the dubbed audio... I couldn't understand anything that was said by the bad guys...
But, TvNihon dubbing aside, the movie was cool. ZO kicks ass, and can somehow get a motorbike up to a fifth floor stage, through a wall, and talk to grasshoppers. The monsters were freaking terrifying, especially the Bat-Thing (anyone else thinking Pan's Labyrinth?) and the weird-human looking dude. I give this 7.7/10, and I think it's a worth continuation to Kamen Rider's wilderness years. Next up, J... possibly followed by Shin... |
Kamen Rider J: This movie felt a lot like ZO- someone get's kidnapped, main guy keeps seeing grasshoppers, meets some demon thing... But it was different enough that I enjoyed it as its own thing. Plus, we actually found out some of J's back story, unlike ZO,, which was cool. J deserves more of a legacy than "that one rider that can grow giant." I give this 7.1/10- not as good as ZO, but I think if you saw them the other way around, you'd disagree.
Next on the list: Shin: Kamen Rider Prologue. If I don't come back after it, it's because I'm too scared to leave my room again. |

But anyway, glad you enjoyed J. He's one of the riders I really like because I just love Mochizuki Yuuta as an actor. Also... that weird grasshopper companion was kinda gross, but surely memorable xD Also, we shouldn't forget that J was also Tyranno Ranger AND the King Endymion to Garren's Tuxedo Kamen in the Sailor Moon musicals (after being Kunzite once, the most badass Tuxedo Kamen and before becoming a vampire lord. Also Space Knight. Space Knight was awesome.). |

Hibiki Episode 17: Ibuki kicks ass even without his weapon! That fight scene at the end was beautiful, I loved the spikes from his fist, using the wind to empower him and that was one hell of a rider kick. I loved his hang out day with Kasumi too, that was a lot of fun and I could relate to him because I am nervous and not sure how to ask out the girl I like too and you could tell he just loved spending time with her. I also liked how he liked all the clothes and couldn't pick I get that way too. The fire sword Hibiki created from his drum stick was totally awesome I hope he does that more. I liked how nervous Todoroki was that was great, I can't wait to see him fight more. I liked Hitomi, Asumu, and Akira's parts too I like the high school part with them and how it's getting more tied to Oni part too. This Makamou looks disgusting, and tough I can't wait to see how they defeat it. I also loved the new scenes in the intro adding scenes with Todoroki and Ibuki makes it even more awesome.
