I don't see how. They didn't release any figures for Wizard, but IIRC the Wizard figures were selling pretty poorly anyway. Although OOO could use Poseidon and Aqua.

The movie riders most likely don't sell very well. It's a shame since the movie Riders have some really cool designs. I guess Kamen Rider Mars chances on getting made into a figuart are low too :(.

Don’t know. Movie figures may don’t sell like main riders, but it is Gaim. Gaim sells pretty well. Also, the retool options are very good, you can make 3 figures by doing the apple-suit once and then repaint it. You have to do new heads (but even these you can retool) and weapons but the overall figure is pretty much done.

So if anyone wants a white ranger, my B&N store had five of them on the shelf yesterday. He is $44.95 plus then shipping and stuff. I am more than willing to pick him up for you, but I'll need the payment in advanced since I do not have the money to just pick him up before hand. So my Zangetsu Shin came in the mail today. I was really excited about this figure, but then I saw this:

I can't quite tell if it's excess glue that got caked on really hard or if the plastic got messed up. But either way, not too thrilled especially for a figure that's so expensive.

The small splotch on the visor. My OG Zangetsu has the same problem, so if it's anything like mine, it's behind the visor proper and on the Pulp Eye.

NY recently changed their ordering system, so it'll be up to you for a bit.

You have the option now to combine and split orders as you please, as long as you do so before they send out the reminder notices for any items that are part of that order (which they do roughly 10-15 days or so before payment is due).

If you ordered them together as part of the same order and choose not to split them up before you pay for Duke, then they will ship together at the end of January or whenever it is that Blue Beet comes in stock.

If you split the orders, then they will ship separately when each item comes in stock (Duke in December, Blue Beet in January).

The green on the Melon energy lock is not that bad, but good god that paint splotch on Rose Attacker...

I really don't notice anything wrong at all with Shin Zangetsu...

How could you not notice the paint chip on the driver? It reveals the clear plastic underneath. And below that the red paint is applied so poorly you can see the silver plastic underneath. That's legitimately not a light trick, my SZ is made like shit.

I would likely never notice the issues on the belt. If the rose attacker came from like Amazon, I'd send it back over a poor paint job, but coming from overseas, I'd just suck it up. I guess my take is that it's all part of the hobby.

I honestly don't see the paint problems on Zangetsu. Rose Attack however looks like someone scraped it against something.

Please don't give me the "it's all part of the hobby" line. I've been collecting SHF's for years and this level of QC on a limited run web exclusive that goes for double retail on the secondary market is inexcusable.

Don't get all in a tizzy, mate. I just meant the dealing with it part. Since you don't have an easy recourse, just accept that sometimes you might get a bit of a lemon. If the arm fell out of the socket or something, that's one thing, but some shoddy paint apps are another. If you're really upset, send your pictures to them in an email. Can't hurt. You might even get a decent response.

But my own personal opinion, as I said, is that dealing with it is "all part of the hobby", line or no.

Agreed. It'd be different if it's a retail release, but paying more than twice the price of a regular figure and dealing with shoddy paint work and, in my case, an obvious splotch right there on the visor is just frustrating, especially with a foreign figure where I have to jump through hoops to get my issue resolved.

This is my first figuarts purchase that has actually disappointed me.

Just paid off my preorder for Bravo. Not sure when I'll be able to get Hibiki, but at least Mister Dangerous will finally be mine.

I honestly didn't notice it on the Shin Zangetsu until you pointed it out. I agree that Tamashii Web Exclusives shouldn't have that, though, and yikes! The Rose Attacker!

I don't think it's that noticeable unless you view put it up close. Something like that does not bother me that much with toys since not all of them can be perfect. I do agree that the scratch paint on Rose Attacker is bad. I guess Tamashii has been lazy with paint jobs lately seeing that I've seen the paint job on the SHMA figure of Godzilla 2014 and the paint on his mouth looks messy.

My Zangetsu Shin looks fine, no paint clips or glue slobs. The driver is very well painted, it doesn’t look like clear plastic at all.

That’s a recurring problem though. With both G2000 and Final Wars Gigan some figures look like every dentists dream. I had luck with Gigan, his teeth look good, but the paintjob on my G2000 is horrible, the mouth looks absolutely atrocious.

I have G14 on pre-order, lets see what I get this time.

Well, I agree with Den-O on Shin Zangetsu here. I'm like him. I REALLY notice paint scratches on my toys. :lol

Oh... an unwound wreath would actually work really well for a general Lockseed/Helheim display.

At the same time though, you also probably got a minor dud. Not every QC issue is wide-spread. Even high-end stuff isn't immune to hiccups in production. I get that this kind of stuff can be a deal-breaker for some people, but maybe it's just a bad string of luck.

You can always try to fix any small scratch paint by painting. I remember I fix the bad job on my NECA TF2 Blue Pyro a while ago.
