I know my affection for Rarity came primarily from the fandom's general negative reaction towards her (At the time of my joining, anyway), but I don't know when my affection became an obsession :lol

Alright, fan theory time! Say Luna and Celestia were both evil at one point or another. Which one would pose the bigger threat, Nightmare Moon or Solar Flare?

Celestia is inherently stronger than Luna, but the Nightmare forces draw upon one weakness of the host and uses that to overtake them. The stronger the weakness, the stronger the "Nightmare" form is.
Celestia's weakness is guilt, and she's pretty much resolved all of it (Luna is back from the moon and purified of Nightmare, and Sunset, while she hasn't returned, she knows she's okay), so her Nightmare form would probably be weaker, since Luna's weakness (Formerly jealousy, now remorse) was pretty much her defining trait in the comic (Though, it's not super intense, since she got better when she was backed up by the town and Celestia (And Sweetie Belle, oddly)).

So Nightmare Moon, because the Nightmare forces' grasp on Celestia would be tenuous and weak.

But here's a question: The "Main" Nightmare force can only have one host at a time, which is why it meticulously picked Luna and Rarity. How could a "Nightmare Celestia" and Nightmare Moon exist simultaneously?
