And this stuff hasn’t happened to me personally, but after I took the time to look up some things I wont give these guys money ever again.

Since this is getting off-topic, I suggest we drop this discussion, I wont write anything more to it. This is just what I think and it will stay that way.

At most, I've found it can shave a day off. They seem to ship as quickly as they can get the items out, once the release date hits. I don't know if I got actually got bumped up the queue for paying way early, but it seemed that way. Only once have I had to wait a few extra days because they got their stock a little slowly from the distributor. I usually ship EMS and that means I usually have the item in hand by mid-week (Thursday at the latest - barring any customs hold-ups). I've used FedEx once (had the item on Tuesday) and SAL once (usual wait time).

Personally, it's just a shame that canceling preorders is such a hassle in this hobby, especially for orders that won't release for several months. Several financial setbacks can happen in that time, so it's unfortunate but eh what can you do?

These stores probably don't have a lot of storage space, and I know they'd rather not let something sit for x ammount of time. These people have bills and employees to pay, so not allowing for cancelations is totally justifiable.

One or two cancelations might not seem like a big deal to you people, but imagine yourself in their shoes and picture how many cancelations they must get daily.

Now imagine being stuck with that product and eventually running out of space for future orders.

Not to mention all the operating capital tied up in the merchandise that just sits there. Financial output with no corresponding input is bad for business.

I mean I totally get it. Just frustrating to deal with as a customer but businesses have to look out for themselves.

Yeah I've paid early at NY multiple times, and other times I've paid closer to the deadline, and it's been up and down when they get something out the door immediately vs when it processes for a few days and then finally ships.

I tend to use SAL, though now that we can split & combine preorders (as long as you attempt to before the initial payment request email arrives, I think) I'll probably be using EMS more regularly for larger orders.

That aside...wow Bravo, Blade Jack, Gaim Jimba, Gaim Kachidoki and Bio Rider will all be in-hand for me by the end of the month or early October.

While everyone else is talking Gaim, I've just ordered my first Figuarts - Fourze Fire States! Also got Module Sets 1 and 3 to mess around with. Anything I should know about it before it arrives?

Pay close attention to the Switches on his belt. A lot of them are loose and I know at least a few people lost them pretty much right off the bat.
Other than that, have fun!

Speaking of this, I just was moving my Fourze figures around a few days ago and noticed my Fusion State has a broken driver handle :(

I got him brand new a couple years ago and only ever had him displayed on my shelf. But the handle has been broken off and stuck up in the joint all that time. It annoys me enough I feel I need to replace it now.

Kinda makes you wonder how long the blade on the Sengoku Driver will fair...

Oh, and real quick, a question. I know it's an impossibility in the show, but can the Figuarts for Fourze's State Changes still swap out the Circle Module Basement (right arm) and plop other Module on there? I know Cosmic can because of how it's designed but I'm unsure about the others.

Unfortunately, the handle on Elek's driver broke on me recently, too. Odd as it didn't show any signs of stress.

Fourze Figuarts are pretty great, but damn those switches can fall out too easily sometimes. Some of mine are great, some fall out ALL THE TIME.


My Cosmic States is broken in half, but I'm cleverly using a stand to hold him upright, so I keep feeling like I don't need to replace him. :)

It's likely due to the clear plastic of the Fourze Driver, clear plastic on joints doesn't tend to last long.

Fourze Base States was my second figuart. Only complaint, save for easy to lose switches, is a loose shoulder joint. Makes using his rocket module difficult.

I think that's more of a coincidence, the extra tip is just meant to give you the option of having the spear extended or not.

Why is everything they make so inticing?! I'm quite glad I've avoided on buying Shadowmoon up until now, though I thought the original figure looked really good so I'm surprised he's getting a renewal. Also yesss more bikes, I need more bikes.

For me at least Shadow Moon Renewal is the most yawn worthy reveal this year. Honestly I love the original so the new ones gonna need to do a lot to make me want to upgrade.

Kuuga & Agito have not aged well, whereas Shadow Moon is still an absolutely great figure.

I will likely skip out on the renewal of Shadowmoon. I guess fans in Japan must want a renewal, but I don't see any point since the original got reissue last year.

2. I'm glad I have the opportunity to get a Shadow Moon, but yeeeeeeah....the difference between the new one and old one is not really all that noticeable, especially considering Black/RX and Kabuto.

Yeah, I think I can happily skip renewal Shadow Moon unless he has some sort of amazing accessory (and nothing springs to mind). Not only is the original still relatively new to me, but is still better than some more modern figures. He blows Roborider completely out of the water.

He's not out until the 30th, I believe.

And I've had my first casualty. The cat got up on my shelf and knocked everyone off. Thankfully it wasn't worse, but one of Scorpion's leg spikes broke off and I can't find it to try and glue it back on.

She's now displayed behind everyone else..makes it hurt less.

Don't feel bad - those of us who snagged Akarenger from AmiAmi with our Iron Men and Kachidoki are still waiting to be charged lol
