Is he better in person than in pictures? Idk, I'm usually not one to nitpick proportions, but Wizard always looked really, really off to me.

I can get him to look good. Though they're all action poses. Can't do squat with the regular coat tails. Sometimes I forget how much I hate Flame Style's figuart. And then I play with him and get pissed all over again.

I can confirm this personally. Splayed out in a dynamic pose, it's not so bad, but if you have him standing at attention or whatever, you're going to notice.

Really wish they'd done more effects sets with extra coat tails for the Not-Flame Style forms. But no, one and done and fuck all the not-red stuff.

Its in person as bad as it looks on pictures. The main flaws he has are his big feet, giant head, short neck and his torso looks very small and awkward.

Yeah action poses are fine but putting him into a normal standing pose or more gelegant poses Haruto is known for and he just looks off.

Can't speak for flame style, but with Water I just stuck a small bit of blue-tack in the socket for the neck ball on the head and it alleviates the issue some.

I tried to do the same thing with the torso, but I couldn't get it to separate easily enough to not frighten me about snapping the joint.

There is no escaping those feet, though.

Have to try this out.It really drives me nuts that Wizard cant really look left and right because his chin gets blocked by the collar.

Well, it won't be much longer for the Tamashii Nations January/February 2015 announcements. Hoping to see something worth purchasing in this upcoming release announcement.

Ugh. I'm kind of hoping for February to be a light month, I don't think I can handle a bunch of new releases AND Lexcon in March. I'm happy with Blue Beet, thank you.

I usually wait till they get put on the Tamashii Nations site itself though, it sucks that after quite the few months of Tamashii Nations getting the announcements put on their site before the beginning of the month that the pre-orders start & when it's announcements for the first part of an upcoming year, they wait till the end of the month prior to the start of pre-orders to put the announcements on their site.

Got Kachidoki today, very good figure. I was worried the level of detail and all the armor could hinder it, but it doesn’t. Very good paint-apps and tight joints on this one, feels really good. The belt on mine is loose but I think that is on purpose so the belt doesn’t get jammed by the armor while posing.

Bravo is already on his way, I cant wait for this one, because promotional pictures of this very figure was what got me interested in Kamen Rider in the first place, true story.

My Flame Style is so bad that he fall apart when you move him. I just want to throw mine in the trash, but I'm not going to do that. It's a shame since he's a very nice looking figure and I got him as a gift over a year ago for my birthday. At least Flame Dragon and Infinity Style turn out much better in my opinion. Beast was pretty good in my opinion.

I just want a renewal wizard. It's a shame one of the nicest designs got shafted like that.

So yeah hopefully all my sept figuarts will be sent off soon. Toku taku is busy packing atm so I'm not sure when they'll send it off.

I also went and bought kikaider off NY. Can't wait to get him in person.

Agreed. Couldn't believe that Gaim would get such a cool form. Hate that it's not his final form.

I've been thinking on this quite a bit lately. Kachidoki really does feel like a traditional final form, while Kiwami feels like something else entirely. Which really makes a lot of sense.

I agree that Kiwami Arms seems like a downgrade from Kachidoki in comparsion.

I didnt like the design at first, but over time it really did grow on me. I think what brought it down really was the fruit pattern on his chest.

I do wish that he had a little bit more to him other than the fact that he can use everyone's weapons. It would've been nice if Kiwami Arms himself had a unique weapon on his own, though I do like how Kouta utlizied the weapon combos in ways that didn't make it seem like he was cycling through them whenever he pleased.

I'm still disappointed by the fact we never saw the DJ Gun Sojinto Mode (Sword Mode + Daidaimaru). Although, I still say that the Budou Ryuhou/Donkachi combo was one of the most out-of-left-field and clever combos used.

I loved it when he would weapon spam.

Being a Gundam fanboy, it instantly reminded me of a Funnel attack.

I think it's detestable that Bandai won't make a weapons pack for Kiwami arms :(

I mean I understand why they wouldn't from a marketing pov, but I do wish they would go an extra mile for the fans who made their line really successful.

Well Bandai expects that when you want all the other weapons for Kiwami Arms you buy all the other Figuarts releases.

And if you were "one of the fans who made their line really successful" as you so put it, you'd probably be doing exactly that.

My point exactly when I said I understand why they'd do that.. but perhaps a gesture for fans (even if it's an exclusive pack) would result in multiplier effects due to higher brand loyalty? I don't know. But it'd be nice for the fans.

Also, I think most of us saw this marketing strategy coming from real far away when the gimmick for Kiwami arms was first revealed. So maybe giving an exclusive weapons pack may have been a pleasant delight for their fan base. I'm quite sure there are many people who would still get the other arms changes, and besides, all exclusives, so how much could they possibly lose?

That aside, I've grown to like Kiwami arms' design for its royal feel. Hopefully the Bandai silver really stands out on the figure.

The way I see it though, if you are interested in the Gaim-FiguArts you already have a considerable amount of weapons once it comes out.

The only thing they could have done better in my opinion would've been packaging it with the Kagematsu of Matsubokkuri Energy. Because Gaim-Kiwami uses the damn thing so often and I doubt I will buy Matsubokkuri Shin (if they do him at all) just for the weapon.

Another DJ-Gun/Sword is kind of pointless, I know he uses it often as a finisher, but still...

Also, this is really late, but how many here have preordered the Batman figure? Just to get an overall feel of how popular it is from the get go.

Well we are still talking about the Company that made you buy another figure that was web exclusive on top of that just to get two hands that were pretty important for another figuarts release.

And then another two if you wanted hands so that he could use his motorcycle. Not to mention that you had to buy two figuarts if you wanted to display a certain character in both ways.
