Yeah, I like Gai. He's awesome. I to do not like Akibaranger. I'm not sure what it is, I just know it's not for me.

For me, Akibaranger just has a lot of little things and maybe a few big things I don't like about it that adds up to me not liking it. Eitherway, in the context of this thread it was at least something different.

Man, I hate this argument. I didn't like it with Miko in TF Prime and I don't like it here.

I would not act like Gai if I was in a Sentai team. Why? Because I'm a functional adult, not a squealing manchild with the fashion sense of a four-year-old. I can't say he didn't amuse me at times, but he always found fresh ways to annoy me.

That wasn't going to be my argument at all =p Its not so much brilliant on a humour/comedy level, but just on the way it explores the different sentai tropes and is so self aware. Eh, maybe it's just because I'm a film and tv student =p

Anyway can we really count AkibaRanger, it is technically unofficial after all =p

Don't get me started on Miko. I so do not like Miko. I keep hoping Bulkhead accidently trips and crushes her into a pancake.. so far, no.

That's actually a point of contention for some. Not everyone likes self referential or meta humor.
