Also, wow, only $25(approximate)? That sure as hell beats the $50 minimum on eBay right now... Eh, why am I complaining? A few months ago I couldn't even find them. XD

The hollowed bits could be a concession, surely. :lol They're not meant to replace the DX figures after all, just offer an alternative. Honestly I think kids would eat them up, especially if they're pre-painted.

I dunno man. I mean, the Minipla are meant to come apart... And the pegs are all weak... The idea of them being pre-built, and painted, in a singular box, with a plastic tray, is just really bizarre to me. Especially since half the time they're not molded in the right colors... I really think Minipla should just stay where it is.

Ah well, perhaps you're right. I guess I was doing a bit of wish-fulfillment back there; I really love the Minipla but my horrendous painting skills ruin most of them.

I'd still settle for Power Rangers releases of Minipla, though. :)

Finally assembled the set and I'm roughly 70% finished painting it. Compared to Gokaioh, the Minipla Shinkenoh is a bit underwhelming, as it suffers from a lot of loose joints and the head has limited mobility. And as with other Minipla kits, the stickers are cheesy. But overall, it's a fun build and it gives me a reason to pick up the Minipla DaiTenkuu set that's been sitting in my local hobby shop for years.

Yes, this is the first Minipla to be marketed as a PR product. All previous Super Sentai Minipla kits retained their original Japanese packaging on their Asian reissues.

Actually thats wrong. The Minipla Kyuukoku Daizyujin set was repackaged as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Ultrazord and Megazord/Dragonzord Fighting Mode. I think some Megaranger and Ohranger stuff may have been repackaged too. These were mostly likely only available in asian countries though.

Never saw any of those where I'm at. Got any pics of the packaging?
