Well, if Basco is still alive, me thinks that this would then in theory take place before the end of Gokaiger, before Basco is dead. We saw Go-Busters take on Basco before, so this isn't really a big surprise.

For the SuperHero Taisen concerns, I think Marvelous could only change into the Sentai that were defeated at that point.

But if Basco's back, what's to say he didn't beat up the other Sentai, gained their Great Powers and that's how the Gokaiger got the keys again. All speculation lol

Vs. movies tend to serve as an epilogue to the previous series as well though. I'd be disappointed if they broke this trend.

I didn't think we'd ever get a Go-Busters Vs. Gokaiger movie; I had figured that the Super Hero War movie would be it. But hey, more Gokaiger is A-OK in my book! :)

I thought the same, glad to see that there is an actual VS movie coming out.

How is Basco being alive a problem?!

... He's freaking Basco!

I mean it's no different than any other VS movie where a host of previous villains come back to life for the movie and are then defeated.

Remember. Shinken V Goseiger it was Buredoran posing as the last seasons villian. So.. maybe it's Messiah posing as Basco, because he wants to feel like what it's like to be a popular villian.

For a sec, I thought you were talking about Brajira from Goseiger. That guy goes through so many different changes. :lol Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if it was him acting as Basco.

I for one would gladly take more films of Brajira wearing people's skin :D

Personally I hope this film has a Metaroid of Basco's trumpet, one that can summon rangers. And then the Megazord can in turn summon mecha.
