For me? Hm...kinda elemental theme...let me explain.

Red: sun
Blue: ocean
Green: forest
Yellow: desert
White: sky (clouds are white) or the moon

Or maybe I would switch red and yellow...this is the best I could come up with on such short notice.

Maybe something based on the Chinese Zodiac? (I know I suggested this idea before, but I just really like it)
Red - Horse/Rooster
Blue - Boar/Sheep
Yellow - Tiger/Rabbit
Pink - Dog/Rat
Black - Ox/Snake
Sixth - Monkey
Independent - Dragon

I was just about to say, everyone seems to love dragons, why not a whole team of just dragons. They could all be skilled martial artists and each specialize in a different style of martial arts. And their mecha/design would reflect a different type of dragon that matches the area/country their martial art is from.

That might be the single best post you've ever made.

Deka Sentai Drag-Onger. A family of police who's blood line is half dragon making them strong enough to fight other mythical races. Their precinct would be the island of Drago. These 5 would be charged with keeping the peace between the human and dragon races that co-exist on the island. 6th ranger is a full blooded dragon.

Only need a villain. Probably a different mythical race that's trying to start a full blown war between humans and dragons.
