I think we're looking at this show through the wrong kind of filter. I'm looking at it has an American Adaptaion of Tensou Sentai Goseiger. Yes. I don't judge Lightspeed Rescue based on GoGo-V, NO ONE judges MMPR's first season based on Zyuranger. Just look at this like you did before you ever knew that Super Sentai existed.

And to answer your qualm on RoboKnight's card, Saban, like all companies, wants money and being cheap gets you more of it.
But yeah, that is annoying.

Given how Mack went Pinocchio on us at the end of Operation Overdrive, I wouldn't be surprised if Saban did this to Robo Knight.

It's not that I have a problem with environmentalism, it's just becoming one of those things that they really harp on. We already have Emma, whose only personality trait so far seems to be that she just loves the environment. Usually enough is enough with Emma's first few lines. It just gets annoying when a whole episode or the whole show begins to focus on it.

I agree. In Goseiger, like Den said early, it was much more subtle. There but not jammed down your throat. Saban.. he doesn't do subtle.

At the same time it's no different than MMPR. Trini and Kim often worked fundraisers and cleaned parks, had fights in dirty factories that disgusted them because of how pollutant they were, there was quite a bit of environmentalism in the original series. This idea of the rangers caring about things like that, and strongly, isn't new. With it being the 20th anniversary I think they're trying to get back to some of the roots of MMPR.
