Hunter I have no problem with. Because no one in canon tried passing him off as a Red Ranger for a thrown together last minute anniversary show that wasn't that good to begin with.

fact- aurico wasnt the leader of his team so he apparently had no more business on the forever red team than eric did.

Tommy belonged in Forever Red because at one time he was an actual Red Ranger. Him being Green or White had absolutely nothing to do with it.

And yes, Aurico belonged on Forever Red. Because He Was a Red Ranger.

No, this is Sentai logic. Where one suit that's red can be red but another suit that's red isn't red because Sentai is stubborn and won't believe in color.

Quantam Ranger doesn't register as a Red Ranger because he isn't one. He was never one. He was always Time Force/Timeranger's Sixth. As Time Fire and Time Force Quantam. That was why Gai had his Key and not Marvelous. But back to the American version. Alien Ranger Red counts as a Red... Because he was a Red Ranger. Being Leader had nothing to do with it. Rocky was the Red Ranger of the MMPR team yet Tommy led while being the White Ranger.

You all asked for my opinion. Ive given it to the best of my ability. I honestly don't need, or want, belittled for it.

So basically, if the color of your spandex is red, but you aren't a leader, you can still have the word "red" preceding the word "ranger" in your common title.

But, if the color of you spandex is red, you aren't a leader, and you joined the team at a later date and get your own unique, individually packed, bigger toys, then you can never ever ever ever in a million bajillion years have the word "red preceding the word "ranger" in your common title?

He's a Red Ranger. His color is red, clearly. They used him in forever red because there were 3 seasons of MMPR which would have meant there'd only be 8 Reds. But Red Alien Ranger counts as one, leaving the conundrum of MMPR Red (Jason) and MMPR Red 2 (Rocky). And that would have meant only 9 reds for a 10th anniversary. OR use 2 from the same generation?

Somebody had to go. It would have made no sense to have 2 MMPR Reds so the logical conclusion was using the 2nd Red from Time Force to fill the ranks. Seeing as he is red as well but is still his own unique ranger, rather than being a legacy like 2nd MMPR Red, it makes sense.

For what it's worth, Time Fire registers as Black in the Galleon Buster.
