Unless this massive Megaforce hiatus (when is the show coming back?) is to give them more time to slide the cameos in.

So a basic translation is "Hey gaiz, you know how Power Rangers takes footage from Super Sentai? Well, two years ago there was this anniversary series where at least 1 character from 35 different series made an appearance. Well we, uh, despite us inevitably getting up to adapting it, we knew absolutely nothing about it, we were caught completely unaware! So, we, uh we haven't put enough money into our budget to pay you what you're worth but we'd like you to come back anyway. I know its not actually enough money but, uh, THINK OF THE FANS! Yeah."

This sort of opinion makes me want to choke innocents (not literally, but you get it). It's everywhere among the ignorant masses on facebook and it really ticks me off. This is an anniversary season for all 20 seasons of Power Rangers, not just the one you personally grew up with that has aged horribly. Gokaiger did not give Gorenger any sort of special treatment for being the first Super Sentai and it was perfect, Saban should not be dumbasses and give special treatment to MMPR because its the first season, either.
And besides, even if you're not a fan of anything but MMPR, you should know that everything deserves to be celebrated. For a Transformers example, I love Transformers Animated and dislike the Transformers Anime, but I wouldn't be ignorant enough to think that they don't deserve to be celebrated along with every other part of Transformers history.
MMPR is constantly homaged, it got an entire extra toyline in 2010, it is getting figures in the Megaforce line, the Legacy toys are entirely MMPR, there's POP MMPR toys, enough with MMPR! Super Megaforce should be the opportunity to show how awesome all 20 seasons were and not just cater to nostalgic MMPR fools. It's almost at geewunner level on facebook.

We have gotten lots of bad news and more bad news is constantly appearing literally daily. Being butthurt right now is justified.

While I don't agree with the attitude, I do agree with the statement. We shouldn't be making it Super Megaforce "MMPR 2"
The levels of nostalgia glasses for that season is ridiculous.

That is something I'm scared of, that Saban will take this nostalgia season to its literal extremes and just build it all round the Zordon era.
