Something was off in that picture.
Belts are too low. Can't see the "bend" in the suit design. |

Anyone notice we have yet to get promotional pictures of the musket that the Gokaigers use? Just thinkin' out-loud.

From this video, it appears they will be changing to a far more generic, less personality-based role call pose. Hopefully it is. None of the Megaforce characters matched up with the Gokaiger role call poses. Not a single one.

Just reading this thread about translation issues.
You do realise that Noah and GoseiBlue are already a terrible fit, yeah? Noah spends the series as an insecure nerd, unsure if he can really do the things that Jake, Gia, Troy can etc then he morphs and shows such utterly boss skills when he fights and uses that bowgun that it is like he is an entirely different character all together...which he is. The insecure nerd, takes on monsters all alone, and leads the team when Troy doesn't. Having him suddenly pick up 1337 sword skills in Super Megaforce is the least of his problems. |

Who knows? Maybe Super Megaforce will be amazing and a great Anniversary like Gokaiger was. But right now, there's is very little good compared to the huge amounts of bad. Doesn't help that I personally am really disliking Megaforce and its crew of high school stereotypes minus actual personalities and the thought that they will be representing the anniversary saddens me. I'm keeping my expectations low for now. |
Saban getting Power Rangers back really was the worst thing that could have happened. I reckon Disney would have done this all so much better.
I get the whole back to basics thing for the anniversary cast but I think they went a little too far back, to the days of amateurish acting where the unmorphed stuff acted more as a framing device for the sentai footage than really trying to tell a story. I thought Power Rangers moved past that like fifteen years ago. |
