We got the SDCC Bandai of America exclusive run that didn't release the figures at retail ... and this is Bluefin's first run of exclusives to Power Rangers, and as far as I know, the first time they've offered an entire SERIES of figures together in one package, and for a price cheaper than buying them all independently, with all the accessories and a metallic finish on the paint to make them just different enough to be considered exclusive.

What GOOD could they have done?

They can only release things that have already been released. And they wanted a Power Rangers focus. That leaves us ... what, Samurai, SPD Red, Geen, Blue, and...?

Too early to release "Super Megaforce" stuff, as cool as that would be. Plus with Licensing Expo just ending, you can't release something from a future line before that line is even released at all, especially a month after you reveal it in the first place (yes we knew it was coming but in the world of lawyers and legalaties it was JUST revealed this week).

So I'm curious as to what exactly you were hoping for.

I was hoping for a team we haven't had released yet. Just something new, is all.

Edit: I even would've taken a mass re-release of the Samurai Figuarts, honestly. But an SDCC Exclusive set I'll never have the chance to own? It's just dissapointing.

Wasn't ever going to happen. Bluefin don't have that sort of influence when it comes to these unfortunately.

And that's sad. If they had a little more leeway we'd have so many excellent Figuarts by now. Zedd, Titanium, Ninjor. Rito Repulsa would even be nice. Even teams from the past that fans here would love. We make fun of them alot, but I'd buy a Battle Fever J team.

Well, there is something new here. We are getting a second run of 4 TWEs, that's something new. And Bluefin SDCC exclusives are realtively easy to get through BBTS and Amazon unless you wait like 2 years to buy the item.

Dammit if they weren't metallic I'd be all over this...Or even if Red wasn't Super Shinken Red. Shinken Gold can fit in well enough, but the regular Shinken Red just won't blend in. This is like the best way to get the other 4 members, which makes it worse.

But that is just it, right now it is easier for me to buy Pink for $70 one day, then a few weeks later buy Blue for like $50, with Green about 2 weeks after that, and Yellow a week later.

I just cannot drop $200 down on a single item these days. If I could, I would have bought Genocider.
