While I have no plasn on getting any of these, I do approve of this decision. All us US fans who aren't familiar with the Sentai series know the character as female, and even though the Sentai footage used was of a guy...the character will always be female to us...or at least me.

Can't wait to see the mock up! I've been impressed with everything I've seen revealed ranger wise. Even the chunky ranger keys and USA Gokai oh. It should be loads of fun seeing these toys on the shelves this winter.

The thing I think would make all this even cooler is if they included unmasked heads for all the Power Rangers as a kind of alteration for the missing Akibaranger stuff.

Plus it'd be a cool nod back to the old MMPR head flipping...er, morphing Ranger toys.

I assume though the likeness rights thing would make it a problem with some of the actors, though they could always make them more anime-like or something maybe. I recall a photo showing anime styled unmasked heads shown at one point for the Akibaranger Figuarts.

I've actually seen people pop the heads off the old auto morph ranger and pop them on Tyranno and Dragon. They scale just about right to make it work if that's your thing.

She'll be screen inaccurate now but meh. Nostalgia fans spoke for the ENTIRE fanbase on this one.
