AWESOME. Don't get me wrong, I love W and Den-O and OOO and shit, but we need a shakeup. It's gettig tired knowing everything will last two episodes before becomign something else.

No wonder those are my two favorite series. :lol

So we will have badass stories with crazy looking designs? I can dig it. :lol

I'm getting more and more hyped for Gaim as new info comes up. This talk of being like older Rider shows is certainly intriguing since I've finished Kuuga and am on Agito.

I really love what's come out in the past few years, but halfway through Wizard I did hit that realization of "This series needs a change of pace" - Gaim is shaping up to be just what it needs.

I really am excited to see how his character plays out now, especially since before they mentioned something about him caring for his family more than anything else, and Ryugen's his brother, so it'll be really neat to see how that and the Ouja thing mix.

Well, that's not exactly the best comparison, considering Den-O and OOO were also written by the same person who did Ryuki, which is easily one of the darkest Rider shows.

Ryuki was actually almost as much Inoue as it was Kobayashi, but that is a fair point. Still, that was a pretty long time ago and writers can change; Kobayashi now is more Den-O/OOO/Go-Busters than Ryuki or Timeranger.

Two part story arcs in the heisei era go all the way back to Kamen Rider Kuuga. But if he means ditching the two episode format as an overused crutch, then I'm fine with it. I don't nessicarily hate the two episode storyline format unless its something really story based like an Ultimate form (Wizard needed 3 episodes for the Infinity upgrade storyline). I like how Ryuki and Kabuto did thier story arcs, Ryuki's two episode stroyline format mostly only applied to the Mirror Monsters Shinji and Ren fought. Even then, later on, the Mirror monsters weren't the focus of the episodes. I'm only on episode 10 of Kabuto but from what I've seen, its been episodic and had a four episode storyline based on Thebee broken into two parts.

As for being "darker", after seeing the "darker" heisei series and seeing newer stuff like W, OOO and Wizard. Darker just means the ratio of serious characters to nonserious and how often death occours. Its not really that much that makes it different. Now if you showed me one of the gruesome deaths jn Agito I hear about I'll probably change my mind but still.

Comparing to Faiz= I can't really give a fair judgement as I've only seen the first two episodes but I want to say :/

*Gaim will abandon the two-episode story format used by every Kamen Rider series since Den-O.

Well that sucks. I prefer the two episode format.

*Urobuchi intends to maintain a more dramatic portrayal of Kamen Rider; comparing Gaim to early Hesei Riders like Kuuga or Faiz.

So the show's last 10 episodes are going to suck? Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.

Seriously though, I really really hope this show is good, but the trailer shown has done nothing for me at all. I'm hoping it really pulls a Fourze on me.
