Kouta is a fucking idiot, Kurokage and Gridon weren't going to kill Baron, they just wanted to take him out of the game, so why would Kouta stop that? "No, logic has no place in this storyline, he must become my best friend and bromance partner later in the series, generic writing says so! If you destroy his belt now, how can that happen?!" Still though, you gotta love how Kouta expresses the majority of his performance in Delphon. His eyebrows truly are magic.

There's still something off about the fighting, I dunno, it almost feels like a Fighting Game. The special moves don't seem to naturally flow with the fighting or with the environments, they just look like the kind of stock animation you get for any finisher in a fighter, sorta laid over the top so it lacks a sense of impact.

This isn't the case with EVERY move, some are really cool, but others are just so drowned in special effects it just creates a barrier between you and the show. It looks like Kurokage especially could grow into a real badass, if he lives long enough.

Bravo looks seriously badass, even if the whole 'Mister Dangerous' thing is stupid.

I gotta admit I was really damn surprised how much I enjoyed him onc I knew what he was saying. I laughed so hard during the scene were he interviews Kouta for the job :lol
The one thing that makes me really glad is that his whole attitude towards fighting comes from his background in the military. Unlike Ouja who liked to fight just...because and that got really boring really fast.

So Ornac?.. meh...

Great episode this week, Bravo was far more interesting than I expected, and Kurokage and Gridon area fun and quirky duo.

Kurokage and Gridon feel like Kick and Punch Hopper minus the depression.

"Ornac" is one instance where I think a TV-Nihon-style popup explaining the joke would have worked better than changing his name. Yeah, I hate it when shit isn't translated, but "Gridon" is noun, and "Ornac" is not his name.

Also, the opening credits changed to show Kurokage and Gridon.

Because I don't know if you noticed, but destroying Kaito's belt involved stabbing it while he was wearing it.

Yeah, I'm not sure how much the belt would stop a spear, but I'm pretty sure not enough. Besides, what they did was cowardly, and if Gaim is going to play the game, he's gonna play fair.

Kamen Rider Guridons name is supposed to be a joke. His lock seed is called Donguri and they just reversed the syllables for his name. Aesir translated his name into Kamen Rider Ornac so the joke works since they used Acorn for his lock seed.

Yeah, I know. What I'm saying is they should've just explained the joke instead of changing his name.

And thats what I meant with my statement. Explaining a joke is dumb in my opninion cause once you explain a joke it stops to be funny.

Either you tell the joke and you get the thing Aesir did (wich I dislike) or you dont do anything and non japanese speaker wont get it.

I'd rather a single, not even that funny joke fall flat than be confused abotu Gridon/Ornac.

BTW, since I skippe dteh talky bits in the RAW, I completely missed the utter hilarity in the wake of Pierre Alfonso, like Kouta hissing at his image.
