I liked Hiroya Matsumoto before he was Jin*hipster glasses push up* :lol. Being serious though, Tsubasa is the best Magiranger.

EPISODE 15

You guys, it's finally happened. I really liked this episode.

EDIT: To elaborate...

1) I think I'm finally coming around on Houka. She's more complex than she appeared at the outset. And she's a better actor than I pegged her for.

2) The Hades Beast -- and his M.O. -- was actually interesting and scary and mysterious. Provided a nice ticking clock for the main conflict.

3) The family dynamic was handled exceptionally well. Makito and Houka reminded me of me and my sister. I was legitimately moved by their actions and reactions toward each other.


For the first time, I'm looking forward to the next batch of episodes so much I nearly skipped ahead. :lol
