Did you get the changer/mecha combo? For me I think he looks far better than Kyoryujin but there's no denying his price...

Id advise against it tho. You can buy them separately for a similar price and you end up with an extra Red Train.

I got my Kyoryuger mecha this week, put them in Gigant formation and carefully placed them on my shelf to be admired from afar from here on out. They're practically begging to be transformed, but I'm scared to even breathe in their general direction. Parasagun really freaks me out, the way he just dangles in the air...I can't imagine the stress that's putting on those two clips from Bragigas.

Tokkyuger is definitely a step in the right direction, hopefully they'll continue to avoid clips when possible in the future.

I can see Zord Builder being able to take advantage of the trains separating in the middle. But I'd hardly say it'll look cooler. If anything the separation between cars will be even more noticeable.
See for Kyoryuzin took some warming up. It was bik and bukly but it had an intrusive gimmick that I felt hampered it's play value much more than ToQ Oh. With this I immediately was like, this is really fun and well designed. I still think it's a stronger toy than some others I own but I can see where someone wouldn't love it.
I ordered the 2-pack version but my actual ToQ Oh hasn't shown up yet. I borrowed a local friends. His was the single pack version.

Got to play with this thing, it's actually pretty fun. It locks together firmly but not so firmly that it damages the toy when disassembling.

It's a risk I'm willing to take.

Theres a whole lot of train combiners that look better than Toqo IMO. Super Liner Dagwon for example. Might Gaine too but he was weird because Locomoriser was way out of proportion to the other two.

I'm gonna agree with you. The simple fact that Zord Builder pegs are smaller means they'll probably be far less noticable. PLUS, in order to accomodate, I can see the shoulder pegs switching from the yellow/pink trains to green/blue.

The only thing I see being left out as a result of ZB pegs is the hitches IN the trains themselves when you seperate them. Because the hitches are attached to the big square pegs, there'd need to be a new method, but it's such a minor detail I can see it just being ignored. A lot of ToQ-Oh reviewers have.

I just can't wait to see if the Den-Liner somehow makes it into the eventual PR adaptation. :lol
