Well, that price is certainly very TRU :lol. Oh TRU, you and your make shit up as you go pricing, never change. That being said, the figure looks neat.

Given Bandai's track record, I'd imagine like previous Lord Zedds', his back won't be painted as others have said.

If it is though... Holy cow this looks good. I wonder if it'll scale with the MMPR Figuarts since I doubt we'll see a legit Figuart version of him ever.

I sold my Legends Zedd a while back due to space issues, so a new one is definitely interesting.

This is the "Legacy" collection. Therefore, it shouldn't skimp out on any paint applications. It's a higher price meant for collectors to purchase. It won't be like some other figures that didn't receive paint on the back of the figures to keep costs down.

If this were accurate then they should have made better figures to begin with. Oh wait, they did ;)

And considering how much the other Legacy items are going for, specifically the newly-released Dragonzord AND the upcoming Legacy Titanus, $17 is a total steal. That's why I plan on getting all of 'em.

But you're missing the point. It isn't a steal. It's way overpriced for something of this size and quality. Comparing a junky 5" figure to a diecast high end collectible is like comparing a tadpole to a shark. It's a false comparison.

TRU actually has them in their system for $20. It's $160 to get all 8.

False comparison or not, to me it's a steal and I do plan on obtaining this guy AND all 7 of the Legacy Rangers!

It does look a lot better to me. However, for a "collector's" item, it shouldn't just be identical to all of the other 5" figures coming out. If paint apps are dropped when compared to the original promotional pictures, like in most of those, then this really would be a rip off. As it is, it's still asking a lot to me as well.
