If they did adapt the movie with the Zyurangers and Abarangers in it I wonder if they'd get Austin St. John, whom has recently popped back up at conventions and stuff, and all three of the Dino Thunder actors to reprise their roles.

Number 5: Current Saban and crossovers have not ended well. Most likely it'd end up being Clash of the Red Rangers again with no returning actors. I don't have any faith in them to handle this well. I'd much rather it be cut than it be forced in.

Number 4: The Deboss Generals are god awful annoying villains. We need some new villains. Candelilla alone is by far the most annoying character to come on of Sentai in a long, long, time.

Number 3: Even the news story says it's cringe-worthy. Enough said.

Number 2: A gun morpher might not go over well with censors and parents. It could effect toy sells in a negative way with all the anti-gun people out there. It's much safer for Bandai to make the gun be just a normal role play toy instead of the centerpiece item the morpher has been taking.

Number 1: Sure, use the suits, but I wouldn't lose sleep if Dino Charge decided to use less rangers. I'll give you this one because it just amounts to another ranger suit to use.

I'd love to see the excellent characterization the core Kyoryugers all had kept intact, since I feel Power Rangers has been glossing over giving characters real personalities since it's return.

I'd also really like to see the show go back to the more traditional once a week for most of the year schedule, but that one's up to Nick, and they seem determined to air as little new Power Rangers as is humanly possible.

I'll give you that the current crossovers (see: Clash of the Red Rangers, and that's it) weren't the greatest, but I still say that Clash of the Red Rangers was probably one of the highlights of Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai. Also keep in mind that it was done by an executive producer who, by rumor, doesn't even like the Disney seasons at all because they weren't by Saban.

Now that Judd Lynn is back in control of the television series, I think he could pull it off. Remember In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and to an extent, Wild Force? Judd Lynn was involved for those crossovers (I don't think he was part of Wild Force now that I think of it).

I'd love to see what Judd could do now, and this is the perfect crossover to do it.

That's why it's stated in the article that the adaption has to be done RIGHT. Not just a straight translation like you've seen in Samurai and Super Samurai, but an actual American adaption of these generals. They just provide too much story towards the Kyoryugers to have them thrown away on the Power Rangers side. Candelilla, while annoying to a degree, played a significant role in the overall story, especially at the end. Don't even get started with DoGold, whose existence pretty much brought on Kyoryu Gold and Endorf, another general (who wasn't annoying).

It helped keep the show feeling light. But the theme of music played well in the series, especially when you start looking at a character like Deathryuger, whose weapon is a freakin' instrument. I just think, again, if done correctly, it could be a big hit.

The Gaburevolver was one of the highlights for a lot of fans of Kyoryuger. It's a fun, interactive toy. I agree that it's not an ideal morphing device for the overly PC country that we live in these days, but that doesn't mean it should be on a Top 5 DO NOT ADAPT List. I'd rather put up Torin the giant bird as do not adapt - lightning doesn't always strike twice, and I don't know if he could be a believable addition ... Doggie Kruger's only happen every so often.

But half the awesomeness is the sheer amount of Rangers. The more popular episodes of Kyoryuger are when all 10 are present. Throw in Deathryuger as a villain (and shoot, keep him a villain throughout the series) and it just adds even more awesomeness to it. I'd love Deathryuger to be a brainwashed human who finally regains control of himself at the end of the series and joins the others. That would be a fun story to build up on throughout - maybe have the Rangers think he's an alien with Dino Charge power only to discover that he's human - in fact, he can be at school with the others and they don't even know it! What a fun twist that would turn out to be.

The sky is the limit. I just hope they don't follow a strict translation - and even if they do, Kyoryuger was a hell of a season, so it wouldn't be all bad.
