it would make the most sense, if any, that all tokusatsu exist in the same universe (as long as they're by the same production company)

I just view the Kamen Rider movies the same way that I do with the older DBZ movies (also from Toei) that some of them fit while others do not fit and can be view as AU films. With big Spring crossover movies, they always have so many plot holes and are they are never brought up again in the show. If they reference at least once then it happens in my opinion. Movie War 2010 and Movie War Mega Max both happen since they reference in the show.

Sangou looks awesome, I can't wait for this. I also think the Blade Riders might be coming back for this because they show them and it's weird to bring back Chalice and Leangle if they aren't coming back.

I don't think it will to be honest. Despite the name it's probably just running with the whole "Kamen Rider Taisen" thing the last movie had. If any Sentai make an appearance it's just gonna be cameos again.

Nope- that shizzles canon. Haruto gains Infinity Dragon in it, which he uses in the canon movie epilogue crossover (boosted to Gold) . Gaim's part in that move is a bit fiiy, though, considering Zangetsu works with them and Mitchy gains the never again seen Blood Orange Lock.

Would've been cool if he somehow used it again. I mean they threw Kogane back into the show, so I don't see the „people who don't watched the movie wouldn’t get the reference“-argument I heard some people use against Blood Orange.

Unrelated comment, am I the only one who's seeing this inside his head when I hear the name "Kamen Rider Sangō"?

Well, hopefully we get a figure of that guy! I love the possibility of a Shocker Rider connection, even if there is none. I've sorta been building my own little universe in my mind (based on the figures I own) so he'll be super useful one way or the other.

Considering there's a giant Shocker insignia behind the guy, the fact that he rocks a Shocker Rider-esque color scheme and the broken handcuffs, that's pretty clear indications. I think he's an Ex-Shocker Rider who was imprisoned because he couldn’t be controlled and after he escaped became a hero. Or he will become a hero during this movie, could be that he sets out fighting other Riders to learn more about himself or something like that.

Looking good. I see they're going with Kotaro as Black, not Black RX. Always the right call.
