Wow, that looks ugly. Not sure entirely how, but I really don't like it. Especially the lightning bolts. Actually, just the lightning bolts.

I don't like it. It looks cheap and has a direct to video feel to it. I rather have a more modern and simple looking logo.

Would it have been too much trouble to add a more battle worn effect to the original logo? You know, the one the franchise has been using for over 20 years and is instantly recognizable?

Now that I think about it, the logo makes me think of a start-up screen of an eighties/ nineties video game.

It also gives off a Star Wars vibe.
Maybe it’s just the background.
