My favorite part is how incredibly bored that woman looks when he transforms. :lol

Personally, the show actually doesn't remind me of the early Heisei era. What it reminds me of more is Ultraseven X (which, in all fairness, I haven't seen) or maybe The First/The Next. It isn't just that this is a Rider show that isn't focused on selling toys, but it's taking the kid-friendly action heroes and creating a show that is directly aimed at adults. No argument that the early Heisei shows skewed older, but this really does feel like something that isn't intended for children.

I get that it’s an exhausting and/or painful procedure so the actor has to do something, but man his constant panting and screaming already annoys me.

Yeah, I'm hoping this is only a first 2-3 episodes thing, otherwise I'm going to get tired of this guy fast.

Yeah I feel like this will be a couple episode thing, because he's not use to transforming yet. This will probably be the last time he does that screaming in pain thing.

I'd even go a step further and say that I think mainline Rider should stay exactly as it is, geared to that younger toy-buying audience, with these adult-oriented projects coming out on a limited/sporadic basis.

I'm excited that we live in a world where we can apparently have both flavors of Rider.

And I'd absolutely flip out if they released a similar Sentai project. I would literally lose it. :lol

I'm lukewarm on Omega, but I kinda want a 1/12 scale plastic Alpha in my life.

This was cool. It's nice to see a new Toku show that isn't a gigantic toy commercial. I really like the Resident Evil-ish Horror vibe it had, I wish there was more of that in Rider. Definitely interested in seeing where this all goes!

Add me to the list while you're at it. Alpha looks amesomesauce, love the green scars on the red body. Always liked that sorta color-palette, probably one of the reasons why I adore Ryugen Yomi so much.

Same, Omega is not my cup of tea. If they would be sold in a two-pack only I would take him, but since both of those are gonna be exclusives of some kind if they ever show up I'd probably only buy Alpha.
