No. The Zords were literally bricks. No inspiration at all, especially the final combination.

This is going to be stupid for all the right reasons. I can't wait.

There is some creativity to the zords but the combinations I do wish were a bit better.

I loved it. I feel bad that it is quite possibly one of the dumbest things ever (I mean, really), and the timing is all sorts of wrong (fans upset at lack of movie news/info/trailer), but it is all sorts of purrfect.

note: I'm an avid cat lover, so I was guaranteed to love it either way.
