  • This episode really tries to sell us Emu and Kiriya friendship, how much Kiriya impacted on Emu, and thus how shocking his betrayal at the end is (although obviously something is up with that). The big problem however is well, Emu and Kiriya were only really buddies with each other for about an episode and a half at best. This is precisely the reason why I thought they shouldn't have killed off Kiriya back in Episode 12. His relationship and development with the other characters at the time didn't have much meat to them. So when we get to this episode where Emu talks about how much Kiriya has helped him and there's all this emotional weight to him siding with Masamune of his own free will, it all just kind of falls flat in my opinion. That isn't to say the scenes in this episode weren't good. They just lacked the amount of set up needed to have much impact. That's honestly a problem Ex-Aid has as a whole. I feel alot of its heavy plot moments lack the set up needed to give them that emotional punch to it. It's almost like the complete opposite of Ghost. Say what you want about that show but I thought Ghost had great build up and set up for its plot moments even though those plot moments weren't executed the best.
  • To continue the set up problem, Kuroto. While I was not oppose to him becoming a good guy, this episode and the last two to extent, made me realize how easy his join to the good side was. Especially after all the crap he has done, all the people he manipulated and all the people that died because of his actions, there should be alot of tension to having him as an ally but there really isn't. I suppose Episode 31 where he saved Poppy from Parad was supposed to be that character defining moment where he shows that he does have good qualities and thus complete his transformation as a good guy but that was the only episode at the time that showed these hidden qualities of his. Beforehand, he was just emphasized as a crazy, arrogant, petty asshole.
  • I don't want to sound like I hate this episode, I don't but it's making me realize alot of problems Ex-Aid has. Also the victims of the week continue to be lame, I seriously wonder why even bother to include them in the story at this point.

I think they bring back Kiriya to live after his death in episode 12 because unexpected Kiriya's popularity.

Hmm.yeah the victim of the week in Ex-Aid series become more boring right now. In my opinion, Kamen Rider W has more interesting victim of the week problems especially because criminal case.

Well, I'm glad that we're seeing the Proto Gashats in action. It's taken long enough...serious question though, why haven't any of them (Neo-Dan Kuroto) used the Proto Gashats when the had the chance?

What I mean by this is that he had access tot hem before they were stolen on Episode 32. Why didn't he use them before?

Another question is, if Lazer Turbo uses a duplicate of the Baksou Bike Gashat, then why does:

A) it skip Level 1 form? I know that the data might be tampered with (for example, humanoid form), but it doesn't explain enough. The Gamer Driver has the built-in feature of Level 1. And even if he pulled the handle straight open, it still should've appeared for a second...

B) it have access to the Gashacon Sparrow. I thought that was tied to Giri-Giri-Chambara? Kiriya only got access to it, to begin with through the Giri-Giri Chambara Gahsat. Kuroto only had access to it because of the Giri-Giri Chambara Gashat. The Ride Players who stole Emu'sd gear got it through the Giri-Giri Chambara Gahast.

I did like this episode...but I'd say that Kiriya returning poked a bunch of holes in the story, along with making everyone question the character's reasons for what they're doing....

Still, can't wait for Hyper Muteki!

Since Kuroto's mother was infected by Bugster Virus from DoReMiFa Beat game, what if Kuroto's mother inside Proto DoReMiFa Beat Gashat? And what if she will be revived by Masamune?

Movie Taisen, GoRiders, HBV, and now the tv show. The actor was never really gone.

One of the problems is that post-Chronicle, most of the patients are idiots who brought this on themselves. You really have to be an Emu-like saint to give a shit about them in any way.
