I really don't know why Zyuohger went with a generic "anthropoid animal" dimension that just happens to exist (It's out there! Just roll with it!") instead of something as long the lines of guardian deities in a heaven realm. That might've even fit in with the cube animal mechas, had they been better designed with something of a totem pole motif when combined.

Zyuohger. Ouch. Well it won't mean anything if Red hogs the spotlight all the time. At least Yamato was a likeable Red.

God, I hope one of the reds is like a Yamato, he's become one of my favorite reds ever of all the Super Sentai I've watched thus far.

Well, if the descriptions on the scans are any indication Patran 1 is a dude who does not deviate from the mission and has Chuck Norris-like martial arts skills while Lupin Red is always quick and formulating plans like a computer running on 100 cpus from the looks of it. In Marvel Terms Patran 1 feels like Thor and Lupin Red feels like Loki.

Zyuohger is very meh, as you said the show "turned into something other than a massive waste of a good idea".

Goseiger didn't really exploit the concept well, either. But more or less, sure.
