Plenty wrong with it. The reveal did nothing for me, because it's something I've already seen done recently. It's lazy. Pure and simple.

And Banjo is the only good character. The rest are terrible. The show itself only had it's story going for it and even that's a crapshoot at this point.

I wouldn't mind if blood stark stick to being an evil asshole right from the start instead of him being possess. Everyone comes in contact with the light of the box becomes power hungry. The box manipulates everyone despite not having sentient being within.

Man that was a good episode of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Slee-I mean Kamen Rider Build.

Seriously though got some really strong Kingdom Hearts vibes from that final confrontation and the result. But man that was some intense stuff.

At this rate, you might as well complain about the other 50 million tropes we see in Rider, such as the "Big Bad of the series is secretly one of the character's dad" that we've seen since W that was repeated with Wizard, Drive, Ex-Aid and even Build

Build has enough of a unique storyline to borrow some aspects of previous seasons I feel.


Onto the episode, I actually like it a lot, if only because you could really believe that Banjo is the main protagonist of the series. He's probably one of the most well-developed and important secondary Riders we've seen in the franchise. And I really don't think this is the last we see of Souichi. You've got to remember Souichi has had stretches of episodes where he doesn't appear outside of the suit. I figure the actor probably has other things going on, so they keep finding ways to work around his schedule.

Plus with him being Misora's dad and all, this really doesn't feel like a "death" episode for such a major character. He'll be back. Likely just in time for Blackhole form.

Build has broken excellent ground in being a secondary rider who has as much plot significance as the main rider.

He is such a strongly written character that as I had mentioned before, he can star in his own Rider series and it would not come off as weak.

It isn't new ground though - it just hasn't been seen for a while. Kamen Riders G3, Knight, Chalice, and Gattack all had an equal - if not larger - impact on the stories of the series than Banjou does. Hell, Knight and Gattack could even be considered their series' true protagonists.

So it's bad because you didn't like it, Also how fun, saying every character is terrible except for one yet still watching and only talking about Build on this site what? Twice? With last time being the site's news article for Evol? Did you come back because you desperately needed to shit on people who who enjoying something? Cause I remember that around this time a year ago you came on and shat on people for liking Brave and claiming he's poorly written just like you are now. Every party needs a pooper I guess
