sigh, another filler episode...

What are you actually complaining about? I don’t understand how you can treat this episode as being a filler...

Maybe they are looking at it as filler due to the BBQ scene. Like technically nothing huge happened and it was more setup. Me I like episodes like that as it gives a break to the audience before some crazy huge things go down.

I think what perfectly describes this episode is it clearly being a "Calm before the storm" styled episode.

It's clearly set up so that the heroes at least have one last moment together before shit hits the fan, and it works as a breather in the first half compared to Ex-Aid who kept pumping out the high stakes constantly with no room for a break.

The best example I give for ex-aid when explaining this to someone is the Christmas episode.

Is that the one where Poppy sings her crazy song and makes the kid cry? hahaha … I loved that part.

The Christmas episode of Ex-Aid is probably one of my favorites because of what happens at the very end.
I got several people into Kamen Rider by convincing them to marathon Ex-Aid with me from episode 1 to the Christmas episode.

Screams happened.

Oh I think I remember, that was the uhm,....'Biker Down!', episode, I think.

I prefer to remember Poppy. :) Poppy makes me smile.
