I can kinda see what you mean. Compared to Decade, Zi-O's story seems a lot more convoluted and we're only five episodes in. I feel like we're gonna need a flow chart of some kind to make sense of all of the time alterations by the time the show is done.

The story isn't really unfolding in a way that's clear and I'm okay with that as it hasn't really been that predictable so far.

Once it hits the half-way point and the movies, it should be clearer. But you're definitely right about it not being predictable. Feels intentional that way too with how so much is in the details but only slowly rolled out and explained.

But on that same token, still less confusing than Den-O was on the time travel shenanigans. xD
