What were Hasbro's comments and sly hints for the future?

Can someone tell me what animal the crane zord is supposed to be? That third mode just looks like a wedge. Also how are we all feeling about how the ab-joint just ruins Beast red's jacket? Acceptable and basically unavoidable or seventh circle-tier sin?

Gold and Silvers zords are both beetles; the crane is a rhino beetle and the jet is a stag beetle.

I thought they changed it to a mantis for some stupid reason.

Yeah I saw that on a couple of other sites: The crane is referred to as a mantis and the jet is called a scarab. Dont understand why. I can kind of understand scarab, but a mantis? Clearly whoever was in charge of naming these things has NEVER seen a mantis before.
