Apparently, the Twitter feed for PwrRngr now has the final episode clips up, and there are a few surprises left in store! The station which airs the episodes apparently posted the finale to their app.

SO for the lads that watched the full seasons. How exactly did they get an RPM morpher?

Earlier in the season, they established that they have a vault containing old ranger tech, like morphers, weapons, and devices. Though it's odd why Grid Battleforce is the dumping ground for all the old stuff is a wonder.

you definitely aren't overthinking this, but this whole twist DEFINITELY seems like it was in the plans from the start, and the comic writers just... kinda assumed there wouldn't be a plan, which isn't unreasonable considering previous seasons

it ultimately does render this comic not completely obsolete, but open to a LOT of retcons that will most likely end up diluting both plotlines

...or maybe they can just say its an alternate universe

There is the thought that the main BOOM! Continuity is NOT the same as the show's continuity, so if one accepts that theory, then maybe it provides the chance for there to be more than one, each with different origins!

Also regarding the show's decisions, I have also developed a theory as to why they chose those particular Legendary Weapons: The Dino Saber and Cloud Hatchet represent Dino Charge and RPM (which were already heavily referenced), the Super Ninja Steel Blaster is still a very recent prop from a recent season which also had a lion Zord, the Delta Enforcer represents the 15th Anniversary of Space Patrol Delta, and the Thermo Blaster represents the 20th Anniversary of Lightspeed. That's the best answer as to why they chose those particular props!

"Source Code" aired in Australia today, which is weird because I think we skipped like, a dozen episodes.

As someone who read the comic, I can tell you that the narration in the review isn’t actually in it. The guy reviewing it read Alpha-1’s declaration that he would return someday in a new body and went crazy with it.
