I definitely plan to scan them (and I'll try and post the remaining photos from 2004/01 later tonight), but my scanner's at work, and it's an incredibly laborious process. It's going to happen, but I'm not sure how long it's going to take.

Some of the newer pages show screencaps of Ultraseven.

Below those are pages which depict Guyver.

There is a photo below the Guyver one which shows one page with an illustration of a "Half Dan / Half Seven" face and the opposite page has a building with a three-prong structure in the back. What is this building?

Gosh, I remember the live action Casshern movie—they spent a lot of money on that, apparently, and it was still kind of mediocre.

Haha, I first saw it on a bootleg disc too! :p I think I'd seen a bit of the old cartoons, but not as a child, so I was pretty much going in blind like you, and, well, yeah, you could see the money that went into it, and it was nice because I was a big fan of Aso Kumiko, and I loved Utada Hikaru's theme song, but it really was a bit of a jumbled mess.

I remember years later when Higuchi Shinji had a temper-tantrum about people not really liking the Attack on Titan movies, and I always felt that it wasn't so much the audiences at fault, but that the weight of expectation and the bloated budgets for these big CGI filled movies that never looked that great anyway just crowded out the room for any real story.

Ah, but regardless, thank you for posting this stuff!
