Wow. In any other Sentai that design would look flashy and extra, bordering on garish, but in Zenkaiger it's honestly a little underwhelming. Like, apart from being gold, I'd say he actually looks understated compared to Zenkaiser, he doesn't even have a cape! At least he stands out compared to the rest of the team, even being the only one to have the traditional flat black visor. Hopefully it'll look better once we see the actual suit in action instead of just cheap figures.

That said, I do like the hat-helmet, and if you ignore the exposed hollow plastic the Geardaringer is a fairly good sword-gun (Toei sure loves those) with an elegant simplicity in just folding the blade down to the side.

The shoulder pads remind me a lot of crocodile jaws, and combined with the zigzags running down the limbs and the "tears" I'm seeing weirdly a lot of Kamen Rider Rogue in this design. Probably just a coincidence.

So an actual Super Megaforce Gold Ranger, and utilizing powers from Zeo and Samurai alongside SMF too. Nice!

If it were just the base suit, I might be underwhelmed, but the Ohranger and Shinkenger forms are, IMO, enough to spice things up.

Like... he's literally wearing a fundoshi over his costume in the Ohranger form. That is... kinda bonkers. :lol

As far as being the "sixth," I know, toy-wise, that's the position TwoKaiser is filling. But has it been stated anywhere that he considers himself a Zenkaiger? I don't think it has. As with StaCaesar, I'm speculating that the additional human rangers will be third parties and not part of the team in the traditional sense.

Toei: "You wanted more Gokaiger...YOU GOT MOAR GOKAIGER!!!"

I wish they'd gone green instead of gold.

I suspect the intent was to have him sport the appropriate chest logo in each form (thus, the Zenkai shoulders), but if so, they omitted it from Ohranger form for no apparent reason.

I kinda hope he eventually gains a Silver mode, but then, I'm kinda hoping he'll be played by a Gokaiger actor.

I'm surprised; I'd been assuming they'd go with green since it's the missing color in ZenKaiser's and Secchan's designs. Now that I can see how Gokaiger the design is, I get why they didn't opt for green; he'd look too much like GokaiGreen.

That's... something interesting I hadn't considered. I'm really not so sure they'd go that far outside the format, but it's definitely interesting that neither Twokaiser or the Daringer have 'Zenkai' attached to their name like the main five...

About where I'm at? There's an instinct I think I share with a few other people here to go "it's just a Gokaiger", but after thinking deeper about that impulse, it's really just doing the same level of slavish yet more gaudy recreation of a modern Sentai that Zenkaiser is for a classic one. I definitely think he looks cool, for sure, though.

I really really hope something like this is the case, especially if it means we could have also have an additional Kikainoid Ranger like everyone's been speculating about. I mean, with the edgy cool design and the name that's basically like Another Zenkaiser (and also probably derived from 痛快, of course, but that's not relevant to this point), rather than simply another Zenkaiger, it would fit well enough to have this guy be, at the very least, in a bit more of a lone wolf position like some of the sixth rangers of old. Not necessarily hanging out with the main cast all the time even if they aren't active rivals or anything?

Or if he keeps the red trims, Gokai Christmas. :lolol

I wonder if the rest of the team will get other forms like Twokaizer has? I can see Vroon using either Go-Onger, Turboranger, or Carranger, Juran using Kyoryuger and Ryusoulger, Magine possibly Goseiger or Kiramager, Gaon using Gekiranger, Go-Busters, or Zyuohger, and for Zenkaizer using Gorenger or J.A.K.Q.
