Also I feel like it'd be bad writing to push Mei into the Espada role this late into the game.
For me this was wishful thinking like early on. But really, her going in now wouldn't accomplish much other than her immediately getting wrecked by Solomon. Like at best she'd maybe be early Touma levels of competent with a sword, but that's like 37 episodes back. |

I was going to say that, but it sounded too much like a ship name for me. You know what? Forget that. I'm officially calling the theory Meispada now and nobody can stop me from saying it. Although, honestly, I mostly wanted Kento to stay Calibur, but I also wanted Espada to come back, and Mei seemed like the best candidate for that. But if that's not happening, then whatever, it's no big deal. We'll see if Meispada theory is really dead next week, I guess. And I still gotta wait for subtitles for this one. |

And who the hell are you referring to for this "someone that hardly works for a promotion". Hayato? Kento? The previous Espada who was just a throwaway character for an optional special? |

Ren was all about strength and his struggles for it, and its clear in this episode he is actually considering Touma's words. Tetsuo had more development than Ryoga in part due to simply being there more often, but he felt like someone worthy of his blade. Reika, even if the arc was soemwhat handled poorly, was someone who believed in the cause of the Sword of Logos but over time grew to suspect the master of not actually caring about the goal, ultimately rebelling in the end though not necessarily becoming a part of Touma's group. Bahato's deal is actually explained in the show, though he does indeed feel one-note, though the encounter with Yuri and Mei may change his view. And out of all the characters, Ryoga is the most one-dimensional but still has a character, being someone more blindly loyal to the cause of the Sword of Logos, and in turn quick to fight once it becomes clear Master Logos didn't actually care. Honestly, what it comes down to is who exactly ends up wielding Kurayami. If its Kento and Yuri, then its somewhat excusable. But based on the preview, it may in fact either be Bahato or Daichi??? Which is not as excusable??? |

Honestly, if Hayato survives the finale, then I'll be fine with it. Kento deserves a chance at happiness. |
With all these resurrections, it's starting to feel like Falchion's powers aren't so special!
