They've been doing this for awhile now. Transformers G2, X-Men, and Little Mermaid have gotten Tiger homages. I have the X-Men one and I hope to get the Transformers one soon. GameStop usually has one or two of the Tigers at any given time. They're not necessarily "reissues" in the conventional sense, but rather retro-style handhelds which echo the limitations of older handhelds.

Preorders are now up with a January 2022 listing. Lines up with being told the Zeo team would be completed by next year.

But knowing how releases work they could always be earlier.

Close, but not quite what they're going for.

The packaged X-Men is the modern retro-style and the PR one is my original from the '90s!

Wave 9 is actually out now in stores. Online retailers should also be getting it soon.
