Yes, I am in Japan! The company I work for has their main branches here, so a group of us came over to visit/train. The Mandarake & Jungle I went to are in Nagoya, the capital of the prefecture I'm staying at

Ooooh, cool. I deal with a lot of Asian affairs in my work (though our HQ is in NYC) so I'm interested in hearing more about what you do, but this isn't really the right place for it.

I've been to Nagoya, it's pretty interesting in the sense that it's such a huge city but is more "plain" than Osaka or Tokyo. But I actually appreciate it for that.

Just got this in the mail. I really like the design so I'm excited to put it together. I'm a bit worried that I'll have been spoiled by the SMP Alternative Destiny Gunbuster though, and this will be a disappointment :lol

I actually really liked the Zyuogher Minipla. It made me appreciate the mech a whole lot more. I picked it up for really cheap so it was a pleasant surprise.

Got some raise buckles (including bow and shield, not pictured) and the NBK King of Sniper 3rd party transformer.

Nice paint job! I'd like to paint some of my kits, especially after seeing the SMP Gunbuster's pre-painted parts, but I'm not sure I'm ready to yet. This will likely be the first one I attempt, though, since it's so simple.

And yes, I love the mech. It's kind of stupid but in a good way :lol

Picked up Ultrawoman Grigio and the Corona Zero & Luna Miracle Zero set from 2019. So glad they finally released Grigio and I guess I am a Zero fanboy now? Best Zero is Leito Zero from Geed, btw.

I also got Espada Arabiana Night. I?m so glad they gave a nice silvery metallic finish to his sword. It looks so much better than what they do for the base form of this figure. I?m the psychopath that ripped apart the swords and bought a metallic paint marker because those swords on the base forms bothered me so much.

I lied when I said I bought *a* marker. I bought *a lot* of markers, until I found a good one. Hopefully I never have to do that again.
